We interviewed John Nichols from Michigan For Shared Parenting today. We talk about what parents should and shouldn't do when divorcing and about John's experience in the family court system when his ex wanted to move the kids to a different state. We also talk about the progress and challenges of shared parenting laws in Michigan (MI) and the current state of the open bills there.

John is a shared parenting advocate. Last year he was part of a team that went to the United States Capitol and met with several Senators and members of Congress to discuss Title IV-D reform.
