A real time example of trusting my intuition in a very public way.
In this episode, I share the story behind changing the name of my four week coaching container midway through launching it, why action creates clarity, and how trusting yourself sometimes means changing things publicly.
This episode walks through my pivot, rebrand, and rebirth, the confirmations that kept showing up, and why being in control is about being in control of your choices, not outcomes. I talk about messaging, decision making, outsourcing support, and why waiting for clarity before taking action keeps you stuck.
If you are learning how to trust yourself, make decisions without regret, stop outsourcing your power, and live by your own rules, this episode will resonate.

Okay.
Speaker A:I wanted to give you guys another real time example of me trusting my intuition and doing so in a way that is kind of for the public to see.
Speaker A:So if you've been following along with my Instagram at all, you'll know that I had a program, have a program, a four week coaching container that I titled claustrophobic to in control.
Speaker A:I have deep meaning behind why I named it, that the word claustrophobic to me has a deep meaning.
Speaker A:And the word control to me also has a deep meaning.
Speaker A:Not in terms of being able to control the outcomes of something, but genuinely, truly being able to say, like, I am in control of my choices.
Speaker A:I am in control of the next best decision that I take.
Speaker A:Now, that being said, I recently just changed the name of my program midway through launching it.
Speaker A:Call me crazy.
Speaker A:For those of you that are not in the online business space, maybe that doesn't seem weird, or maybe if you're not in the online business space, that seems even more weird.
Speaker A:But I did so because of a lot of reasons.
Speaker A:But I just wanted to tell you guys a little bit of a, like, a little bit of the story of this offer as well as like my pivot and my rebrand into this, like, new iteration of my business and how every.
Speaker A:And I'm not going to get into, like, the depths of the story.
Speaker A:Maybe I'll do that on a different episode.
Speaker A:But the overarching thing that continued to happen was confirmation every single time as to, like, how divine this was, how divine it was that I was like, I kept getting confirmation that this was the direction that I was meant to be going.
Speaker A:Long story short, when I decided to make this pivot and go in this direction with my branding, I very quickly came across a photo in my Instagram feed of somebody that I don't follow super closely.
Speaker A:And so I don't usually see her posts, but I just happened to see it and it was of this beautiful photo shoot in the water.
Speaker A:And I was like, oh my God, that represents, like, exactly how I feel as I'm entering into this new brand.
Speaker A:Like this rebirth, like water, just like vibe with the like, same color scheme that I wanted.
Speaker A:And the whole vibe was exactly what I wanted.
Speaker A:So I reached out to the photographer and very quickly got that photo shoot booked and it was just so divine.
Speaker A:The photographer was amazing to work with.
Speaker A:I didn't have a ton of extra funds and the price was right and it was just like, this is amazing.
Speaker A:Then like, fast forward like another week and I was like, oh my gosh.
Speaker A:In order to, like, do this whole rebrand and like, create a brand new website from scratch and create an offer and all of this stuff.
Speaker A:Like, I need help on the back end.
Speaker A:Like, I just cannot get bogged down with all of the tech and all of the website build out and all of the.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:All of that stuff that just like drains my creativity.
Speaker A:And with my very, very limited amount of like, child free time to work on my business, I was like, I can't get bogged down in all that.
Speaker A:I need to outsource.
Speaker A:But, like, I wasn't really sure which direction to go.
Speaker A:I had used VAS in the past and worked with people in the past, but I just wasn't really sure.
Speaker A:And then again, I was just on Instagram and I happened to see a story of someone who I'd worked with in the past who is also a dear friend of mine.
Speaker A:And we met once in person at a retreat and she's so amazing.
Speaker A:And she posted something about having going through her own rebirth and her own brand.
Speaker A:And I just happened to reach out to her and I was like, oh, my God, like, this is just so divine.
Speaker A:Again, like, the woman who posted her photo, she said something about Rebirth, and then this woman said something about Rebirth, and I was just like, oh, my God, what is happening?
Speaker A:And like, the fact that I saw her stuff and we started chatting and she again was like, oh, my God, Taylor, like, I would love to help you.
Speaker A:It's not even really what she does in her business anymore, but she was like, I would love to do it for you.
Speaker A:Um, she was super, again, super flexible with me on like, pricing and like, spacing out payments in a way that I could actually handle.
Speaker A:And I was just like, oh, my God, like, divine intervention.
Speaker A:Divine intervention.
Speaker A:So she's been helping me on the back end, which has been a godsend.
Speaker A:And then other little things like that have just, like, fallen into place.
Speaker A:Then I knew I was like, the one place that I really, really need help right now is, like, messaging.
Speaker A:Like, how do I take this immense, like, vast, deep concept that I am so passionate about that's in my mind and in my heart and my soul and talk about it in a way that people actually get it and in a way that makes people actually want to be in my world and ultimately buy from me?
Speaker A:Not from a place of like, gimme, gimme, gimme, but from a place of, like, I can't really impact lives the way that I'm truly meant to if I can't get you in my close, like, proximity spaces like, if I can't get you in my programs and coach you, I can't change your life in the way, like, just through podcast episodes, even my private podcast, like, I just can't.
Speaker A:It's not personal.
Speaker A:It's not, like, tailored to you and your situation.
Speaker A:And so, again, I just happened to land on someone who I've been following for a very, very long time, who I have just really, really clicked with her stuff over the years.
Speaker A:And she was like, I'm doing this messaging thing and this messaging audit, and I sent her my sales page.
Speaker A:She gave me the most amazing intuitive feedback to where when I tell you guys, I have worked hours on this sales page on just making the words right and tweaking it and trying to make it sound exactly like how you need to hear it so that you know exactly what to expect and exactly what you're going to get.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:But there was certain pieces of it that just, like, didn't quite feel perfect.
Speaker A:Like, not perfect from a perfectionism way, but perfect from, like, there was just something a little off.
Speaker A:Like, I am very good at what I do coaching, and I am very good at, like, helping you work through things and trusting your decisions and all these things.
Speaker A:But, like, conveying that in words that actually make sense to you is really hard for me.
Speaker A:This is a problem for a lot of entrepreneurs, like, the messaging of what we do because it's so deep and we're also so close to it.
Speaker A:It's so tough.
Speaker A:So she gave me the most intuitive but yet from her, like, guru, high level, like, she has like a million.
Speaker A:She has million dollar business, you guys.
Speaker A:She's multi million dollar business.
Speaker A:And listening to her feedback, I was just like, oh, my God.
Speaker A:Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker A:Like, everything she was saying, again, so, so divine.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The most divine timing, right?
Speaker A:And so I very quickly implemented pretty much everything that she told me to do because it wasn't like, oh, she's a messaging guru.
Speaker A:Like, I need to listen to everything she says.
Speaker A:It wasn't like that at all.
Speaker A:It was truly like, everything she said landed in my soul.
Speaker A:And I know the reason it did is because she was speaking from her soul.
Speaker A:Even though some of the things that she said could have been offensive.
Speaker A:She was like, this is just how I feel about it.
Speaker A:And this is like, maybe a way you could say this and maybe like, think of it this way.
Speaker A:And I was like, literally everything she said, I was just like, yes.
Speaker A:One of those things being potentially changing the name.
Speaker A:And she even said, if this doesn't resonate with you and you absolutely love the name, don't change it.
Speaker A:And guys, I did love the name.
Speaker A:But after sitting on it and again trusting myself, because that's what I do, I decided the autonomous mother was the name for this program.
Speaker A:Claustrophobic is a word that very much describes how I have felt at different times in my life and how I genuinely feel or how I genuinely think people do feel in their lives when they are not in the driver's seat of their lives, when they are being victim to their circumstances, when they are not truly owning that they are in control of their decisions.
Speaker A:And the word control to me genuinely means to be in control of your decisions.
Speaker A:But the way she was interpreting the word control was control of the outcomes.
Speaker A:And here's the deal, the way people interpret that word could be the thing that, that makes them not buy that from me.
Speaker A:And that's not the only reason I changed the name.
Speaker A:Part of it was I realized through the process of this feedback and through the process of like creating my private podcast that was the pre game audios for this program.
Speaker A:And as I sat more in, in my like, how exactly is this program going to be delivered in the exact way that these women need it, I realized what I thought this program was, which was going to be like a very small little blip version like branch of my overarching like mission and was going to turn into this like overarching umbrella program.
Speaker A:I realized this actually kind of was the big program.
Speaker A:It's just only four weeks long.
Speaker A:It's just a very little bite size version of it.
Speaker A:But this encompasses everything that my work is meant to do for the woman at this stage in her journey, my, my, my mission than just this program.
Speaker A:But there's different phases in the journey.
Speaker A:And for the woman who's at this phase in the journey, this program is everything.
Speaker A:It's everything.
Speaker A:And maybe I'll run it again and it'll be longer than four weeks.
Speaker A:It'll be six or four or six months.
Speaker A:Like I don't know.
Speaker A:But what I do know is it's the autonomous mother.
Speaker A:Because the autonomous mother is not just the.
Speaker A:You go from feeling claustrophobic to becoming in control of your decisions, but you truly become and you pull out of yourself the autonomous version of yourself.
Speaker A:The version of yourself that trusts yourself so damn much, who can make decisions and feel so good about them and not regret them, not have regret thinking, damn, I wish I would have said no to that.
Speaker A:Damn, I wish I would have said yes to that.
Speaker A:You're not going to feel that because you are so damn autonomous in making these decisions, and you're not living by other people's rules, you're living by your own rules, and you don't care what other people think about that.
Speaker A:So the name had to change.
Speaker A:And I.
Speaker A:The other thing that I want to talk about with this is, for me, action creates clarity.
Speaker A:And this is the case for so many people.
Speaker A:But what happens is they don't take the action, and therefore, they never get the clarity.
Speaker A:They think that if they think about it, think about it, think about it, think about it, they'll get the clarity.
Speaker A:And, guys, trust me.
Speaker A:I've been there.
Speaker A:Like, I. I am an overthinker.
Speaker A:At least I am a recovering overthinker.
Speaker A:I don't want to identify as that anymore.
Speaker A:But I have definitely been in those spirals where I'm like, I can't take the action until I know the thing, but what if there's literally no possible way to know the thing until you take the action?
Speaker A:If I wouldn't.
Speaker A:So I'm literally, like, fudging, kind of, in a sense, in front of you guys, saying, hold up.
Speaker A:Retract this name.
Speaker A:I'm changing it to this.
Speaker A:I'm redoing a sales page halfway through a launch.
Speaker A:Like, people could look at that and be like, that's unprofessional.
Speaker A:That's weird.
Speaker A:Like, I don't know if I trust her.
Speaker A:I was gonna buy it, but now I'm not.
Speaker A:Like, I don't know.
Speaker A:It could do all of those things, but I don't care.
Speaker A:I do not care.
Speaker A:Because if they don't buy now, if they don't trust me, then maybe they're not meant to be my clients, or maybe they're meant to be in the next round.
Speaker A:Maybe they're just not meant to be in this round.
Speaker A:And that's okay.
Speaker A:But here's the deal.
Speaker A:If I wouldn't have created the sales page with the way that it was without the.
Speaker A:The messaging help, if I wouldn't have just named it, if I wouldn't have just created the.
Speaker A:The program, if I would have sat around waiting for the perfect name to land before I started talking about the program, selling the program, posting about the program, it would have never come, you guys, because all of, like.
Speaker A:And think about even, like, the va. Go back to those examples.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The VA help that I found, the photographer that I found.
Speaker A:If I wouldn't have made the decision to move into a new direction in my brand, I would have seen that woman's photo on Instagram, and it would have not meant really anything to me because I wouldn't have even been thinking about a photo shoot.
Speaker A:And same thing with the VA help.
Speaker A:I hate to even call her a VA because she's more like my.
Speaker A:I called her my behind the scenes Wonder Woman because that's what she is.
Speaker A:But, like, if I wouldn't have decided, okay, I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna go all in.
Speaker A:I'm gonna build the website again, I'm gonna create the offer, I'm gonna make decisions on tech, which is scary for me because I hate making decisions on platforms, especially when you're starting from scratch because it's like the world is your oyster and sometimes that's decision fatigue and that's tough.
Speaker A:But I, if I wouldn't have made that decision and taken action towards it, I would have seen her, her post and been like, oh, good for her.
Speaker A:Or like, reached out and been like, hey, girl, I hope, like, nothing would have come of it.
Speaker A:So I hope that you guys take this as in real time yet again.
Speaker A:This is me being vulnerable with you guys and showing you guys, like, this is how I trust my intuition in real time.
Speaker A:Even if it means changing things publicly and making myself look bad.
Speaker A:Even if it means going in a different direction with something that's going to make me have to backtrack and change things on my website and go back into Instagram and like, edit my, Edit my posts and whatever else.
Speaker A:Like, if something in me is nudging me, if I can feel that nudge and I can listen to my intuition being like, hey, girl, this is the direction you need to go.
Speaker A:This is it.
Speaker A:I'm going to listen.
Speaker A:And I can do that quicker than I used to be able to.
Speaker A:Much quicker, because I have flexed that muscle over and over and over again.
Speaker A:And in the past, I would have spiraled about something like this.
Speaker A:And maybe not spiral, spiraled, maybe that's a strong word.
Speaker A:But I definitely would have overthought it.
Speaker A:I definitely would have spun an indecision for days and days and days, if not weeks.
Speaker A:And I would have outsourced my power and I would have asked a bunch of people, hey, what do you think?
Speaker A:Hey, what do you think?
Speaker A:Hey, what do you think?
Speaker A:Instead of just making a damn decision.
Speaker A:So I just wanted to let you guys know, yes, the program name is changing.
Speaker A:Maybe you didn't even know there was a program to begin with.
Speaker A:And that's okay.
Speaker A:Regardless, I think that this, this, this episode's gonna be helpful because I think that this example is just so common.
Speaker A:Even if you're not an online business owner.
Speaker A:Like, I think, I think you can kind of get the gist of, like, you made a decision and you kind of have to backtrack on the decision.
Speaker A:I trusted myself with the name, the prior name, and I am trusting myself to change it.
Speaker A:Does that make sense?
Speaker A:It doesn't mean, excuse me, that the original name was wrong.
Speaker A:It doesn't mean that I made the wrong decision.
Speaker A:It doesn't mean that I made a bad decision.
Speaker A:It doesn't mean that I regret the decision.
Speaker A:All it means is now I'm choosing a different decision and I feel 100% good about that decision.
Speaker A:Does that make sense?
Speaker A:Like, do you see the difference of like, oh, I regret that decision.
Speaker A:Oh, that was a wrong decision versus no, that was the exact right decision for the time that I made it.
Speaker A:Because in that moment, when I made it a couple weeks ago, a month ago, whatever, that was the exact, exact decision that I needed to make in order to take action and move forward in a way that I was passionate about.
Speaker A:Because again, that name meant a lot to me.
Speaker A:And it still does.
Speaker A:And it still might come out in my copy and in my, in my posts and in my emails.
Speaker A:But when it was time to make a new decision, I was able to make it without drama.
Speaker A:I love you guys and I will talk to you next time.
Speaker A:Please go check out the show notes.
Speaker A:I have.
Speaker A:Oh, I kind of wrapped this up and now I want to say something else.
Speaker A:I recorded a private podcast.
Speaker A:It is so fire.
Speaker A:It is like 90 plus minutes of audio.
Speaker A:And that's not just like 90 plus minutes of me like rambling or saying like, I edited this shit.
Speaker A:So it was like no pauses.
Speaker A:So this is like the edited version.
Speaker A:90 minutes, 90 plus minutes.
Speaker A:And I think I'm going to add actually like another audio in, but it's five episodes and it is how the fuck to trust yourself.
Speaker A:Son's in the background told me not to say that, but around here we do in this program.
Speaker A:And it is so good.
Speaker A:It is so tangible.
Speaker A:It is so actionable.
Speaker A:I have a real, like, tangible exercise in there that I walk you through.
Speaker A:I think it's an episode three of something that I walk my clients through when they are struggling to make a hard decision.
Speaker A:This is something that I walked my birth clients through a ton and I've walked other clients through as well.
Speaker A:And then episode four is me walking you through very, very, very intentional questions, AKA like journal prompts, but questions to pull out answers in.
Speaker A:You that are going to help you get to this level of self trust these questions are confronting.
Speaker A:I'll be honest, some of them might be a little triggering but also I have my program, the Autonomous Mother is is created was created to be the support system that you need to walk you through these questions like with me personally coaching you through them, coaching you through what comes up when you go through them.
Speaker A:So if you are interested in that podcast go check it out in the show notes.
Speaker A:It's nine bucks if you follow me on Instagram and you are in my broadcast channel you actually get it for free.
Speaker A:So if you're not in my broadcast channel you can go join my broadcast channel and get the podcast for free or you can get it for nine bucks and then yeah, whenever we run the next round of the Autonomous Mother I would love to have you in there.
Speaker A:Okay guys I will talk to you next time.
