Speaker:

Do you avoid doing Facebook

lives to promote your business?

2

:

I know sometimes it can be a little

bit nerve-wracking just to go

3

:

live, but in order to actually grow

our business, we have to show up.

4

:

, which means we have to

show our face, right?

5

:

. I mean, imagine if we could share

and promote our business without

6

:

showing pictures of ourselves at all.

7

:

Nah, that's not gonna happen.

8

:

So are you ready to do Facebook Lives

or do you cringe at the thought?

9

:

or crafting journey to mastering organic

button or give me a follow because when

21

:

it comes to chatting about business.

22

:

especially after a cup of coffee.

23

:

So grab your favorite beverage,

a pen, and some paper, and get

24

:

ready to unleash your inner CEO.

25

:

Let's do this.

26

:

Welcome back.

27

:

So in this episode we're gonna talk

about Facebook Lives, and whether it's

28

:

a good fit for you and your business.

29

:

I know some of us are introverts and

we don't wanna do Facebook Lives.

30

:

and trust me, I felt that way too.

31

:

Whenever I wanted to do a Facebook

Live, I would cringe at the thought.

32

:

I would get a tightness in my gut,

and then I would get the sweats,

33

:

and then my throat would go dry.

34

:

Then I would say, no, I'm not gonna do it.

35

:

I'll do it another day.

36

:

And then the next day would

come and I would try it again.

37

:

And I'm like, no, not gonna do it.

38

:

Do another day.

39

:

And it kept on and on and on

until I said, you know what?

40

:

I have to do this because if I

don't do this, , no one's gonna

41

:

know that my business exists.

42

:

Of course, yes, you can share

plenty of content and post

43

:

it in different platforms.

44

:

That's wonderful.

45

:

You can post a picture of yourself.

46

:

That's great.

47

:

A picture of your product.

48

:

That's wonderful too.

49

:

But the thing is, you wanna build

that like knowing trust factor, and

50

:

that is not built on just the content,

it's built on you, your personality.

51

:

I feel that, and of course everybody

has their different opinions, but.

52

:

, if you don't know who I am and you just

see a product, and I'm asking you for

53

:

money, you're not gonna give me money.

54

:

You don't know who I am.

55

:

You know nothing about me.

56

:

But when you see that I've done a

live, or you see me on some type of

57

:

video, you get to know the person

behind the product or the services.

58

:

I can recall,

59

:

this is so funny.

60

:

I can recall that before I

started doing Facebook Lives,

61

:

I would record myself 15 times.

62

:

And one of the videos I did had

my cat in the background meowing.

63

:

I'm like, okay, this is not working.

64

:

And then I would stutter.

65

:

, I was terrified, like, what if

I go live and they don't like

66

:

me, or they don't like my product?

67

:

Or what if I say something silly

all these things was in the back

68

:

of my mind that I got so nervous

that I just wouldn't do it?

69

:

But the thing is, if you're posting and

sharing your content and showing off your

70

:

products, , they wanna get to know you.

71

:

They wanna get to know the person

making the product, or the person

72

:

actually talking about their services.

73

:

And the only way they're gonna

get to know that is through some

74

:

type of video or Facebook Live.

75

:

But before we go into the four

live streaming tips, that's gonna

76

:

help you let me take a quick

break and I'll be right back.

77

:

Are you feeling drained from

testing various marketing strategies

78

:

with little to show for it?

79

:

I've been there.

80

:

At the start of my online journey, I

pinned my hopes on sharing posts across

81

:

Facebook groups to flood my inbox with

orders and fill my client calendar.

82

:

But reality hit hard when those

tactics failed to deliver.

83

:

Rather than giving up,

I revisited my approach.

84

:

On my strategy and experienced a

complete turnaround in my business.

85

:

Now I'm so excited to share the insights

I've gained in no money, no problem.

86

:

It's one of my favorite PDFs packed

with 10 marketing tips, tailored for

87

:

coaches and creatives to amplify sales

all while being mindful of your budget.

88

:

Don't let this opportunity

slip through your fingers.

89

:

Snag your free copy on my website.

90

:

That's spelled T A L E N A B A

C O N dot com and kickstart your

91

:

journey to marketing success.

92

:

Now let's get back to the show.

93

:

Welcome back.

94

:

Facebook Lives may not be for

everybody I totally get it.

95

:

But the thing is, it

does help your business.

96

:

I get a lot of clients who work with

me because I've done a Facebook Live,

97

:

or they've joined one of my coaching

groups, and I did a live video in it.

98

:

people like to see who they're about

to work with, or if they're buying

99

:

a product from you trust me, yes,

you can put your product out there

100

:

and they'll say, yes, it's beautiful.

101

:

And yeah, you can get a sale from

it for those who are crafters.

102

:

But for us as coaches, , I go with

someone I've seen before, someone I've

103

:

seen their video, and I feel that.

104

:

And if I feel that trust, then , I'll

watch a few more videos before I

105

:

decide I want to work with them.

106

:

When I had my coach years

ago, I watched her videos.

107

:

I joined a few of her free

trainings and I got to see who

108

:

she was and her personality.

109

:

So trust me, it does help with your

coaching business tremendously,

110

:

and it will help even if you are a

product-based crafter who is selling your.

111

:

So let me share with you

four live streaming tips for

112

:

those who are camera shy.

113

:

Okay?

114

:

Number one, do a video on your

phone and then upload it This way.

115

:

If you make any mistakes, you can

delete it before you upload it.

116

:

No one will never see it.

117

:

You can do a video on you

creating your product.

118

:

You can do a video of you

talking about your product.

119

:

and then upload it onto Facebook

on any of those other platforms.

120

:

This way, you don't have to actually

worry about that tightness in your

121

:

chest or that cringing feeling.

122

:

Number two, practice

your lives in the mirror.

123

:

I know it sounds silly, but when you're

seeing yourself in the mirror, remember

124

:

to smile and actually watching yourself.

125

:

You can see your hand gestures, you can

see some of the things that you do when

126

:

you're doing live and you're looking at.

127

:

Like when I do alive, I know my gestures,

I know I do a lot of things with my hands

128

:

when I do lives, but that's just me.

129

:

That's my personality.

130

:

And I used to be afraid of that.

131

:

And whenever I did a life, ask

for forgiveness for being myself.

132

:

So I stopped doing that.

133

:

Number three, don't pay attention

to how many are viewing you or

134

:

not viewing your live stream.

135

:

I was one who would say, oh , there's

only one person watching me,

136

:

or There's nobody watching me.

137

:

I'm not gonna do this live video.

138

:

But the thing.

139

:

They're going to catch it later on.

140

:

Especially if you are in a group

and you're doing a live video.

141

:

There may not be some people on it

right now, or they might not be viewing

142

:

it, but they're gonna view it later.

143

:

Last but not least, number

four, relax and be yourself.

144

:

Remember how I mentioned when I did a

live, I always used my hands, and then

145

:

I would say, oh, I'm sorry for using

my hands, and I would try to explain.

146

:

No.

147

:

Mm-hmm.

148

:

. I stopped doing that a long time ago, and

I'm like, why am I explaining of who I am?

149

:

So relax, be yourself because

people buy from people they trust.

150

:

They buy from you because they

see something that they like.

151

:

They see the products that you create.

152

:

, it's your personality, so be yourself.

153

:

No matter whether you are in the

coaching business or a crafting business.

154

:

It builds that like know and trust.

155

:

And when you have that, that's

where you get the sales.

:
