The kingdom prophet will not only speak a Word, he will have the quality to be able to hear the cries like the Lord hears. And so he'll hear the unspoken cries of the people and be able to minister to that. A lot of them, I would call like a shepherd's heart quality. To be able to really hear people's hearts and not just see the outward expression, but really know what's in their hearts, how the Lord sees them.
The five fold ministries, they all have changed and evolved into what God needed for that time.
I think a lot of the progression of these ministries is the dying out of self, the dying out of position thinking, the dying out of self would be a really good word for that.
Where we're going is a many membered body. There will obviously be prophets and priests and apostles and all that type of stuff. I don't see them being called that. First off, they don't, they won't even care. It's not even in their DNA. It's a dying out of the label, and more just moving in the ministry.
There's Like a blurring of lines between the five fold ministries as they make the transition from the New Testament age into the Kingdom age. We're finding those definitions now are becoming clearer and more correctly applied to the situation. Not necessarily to the people, but to the situation that God wants to appear and He's going to appear through His many membered body.
It gives it a whole different emphasis or recognition because the Word is carrying a different weight and a different message that if you put apostle on it, all of a sudden it becomes religious.
When the Lord was here on the earth. He moved in a lot of signs, miracles. But the point of the miracles weren't the miracles.
The point of the miracles was to draw attention to the Lord. People would open up and believe who He was. And I think in the church age, the apostles, prophets, those designations were necessary so that people would take notice, listen, open up. As we move more into the kingdom, those designations won't have to be there because of the love.
Because of the love of God and because of our love for one another, I just don't think it's even going to be an issue.
Didn't it say in the scriptures that the five fold ministries were meant to build up the body of Christ until they came to the maturity?
There's going to come a time when the body of Christ will be mature. Now, what does that mean? They'll be grown up into one body.
And it's not a ministry that is a position. It's simply a ministry that's crying out to the Father for the people and having that father ministry with the people. Did in the Old Testament God say that I will give you shepherds after My own heart?
I believe it's very significant when we're talking about the ministry of the prophet in the kingdom because he's going to be more than just speaking a word from God out to the earth. He's going to be a ministry that functions as a father and as a priest, and as a prophet.
As I'm looking at it, I think that what's happening is that as we deepen in our relationships together and in the Lord's love; the effectiveness of what you are as a ministry, if you want to use that word, as a prophet, your effectiveness because of the depth of relationship becomes much more effective.
What we've seen out there where someone calls himself a prophet, he prophesies to the people, but they don't know him from beans. They have no real relationship with the guy other than they may believe he's a prophet because of the gift he moves in, whatever. Why this is so important. It's because in these days, false prophets and false apostles will do signs and wonders.
They will be able to speak things and move and stuff. And if that's what you're looking at, and you have no relationship with them, you're easily deceived. But if you're in the family and you have relationships with the men and women of God, you're not deceived. Because you know these people, you know them by the Spirit, you know their hearts.
And not only you're not deceived, but the effectiveness of the words they speak to you is much more effective because you have a deep relationship with them. You have an openness to them. They wouldn't have to call themselves an apostle. You would call them an apostle, because what their word does to your heart.
There's a difference between calling somebody something, and that person actually being that designation to you. You're going, that guy, when he speaks a word from God, it changes my life.
Because I have a relationship with them. I know that they love me and they're not going to reject me. Maybe I'm a little bit off a little bit, but that they know my heart.
They know and understand and they love me to the point where they lift me up to become something, to become who I'm supposed to be. That's how we're supposed to minister to each other. Love that just breaks each other through to become who God's created us to be and flow as a body.
It seems that we're going to see the complete body of ministries.
We're going to see the priests, the prophets, the emissaries, the servants. We have to throw out the old idea of what the ministry was and reach into what God had created that ministry to be. I think, though, the ministry did evolve to what God's need was.
