In this episode, Tara emphasizes the importance of structuring online content strategically to achieve maximum impact, advocating for a core success path or 'million-dollar framework' that guides users to their desired resolution quickly, while also providing additional modules or content that can be accessed on an as-needed basis.
Tara encourages creators to prioritize foundational material and organize content in a flexible format to drive results - and why a content "drip" may be better for your clients than giving them a Netflix-style vault to choose from.

Tara Bryan:without adding more time or team to your business? If you're
Tara Bryan:looking to uncover your million dollar framework, package it and
Tara Bryan:use it to scale you're in the right place. Let's dive in.
Tara Bryan:Hey, everybody, welcome to this week's episode on the Course
Tara Bryan:Building Secrets® podcast. I am thrilled that you're here. Hey,
Tara Bryan:I have been getting this question a number of times. So
Tara Bryan:it is time to jump in and do a session on this topic, which is
Tara Bryan:how do you serve your content? Do you drip it out? Do you offer
Tara Bryan:it all at once? Do you let people go through it however
Tara Bryan:they want to? How do you structure how you're delivering
Tara Bryan:what you're putting into your membership, your course your
Tara Bryan:program, whatever it is that you're delivering as your online
Tara Bryan:experience. So want to take a couple of minutes to just
Tara Bryan:explain that this whole concept of how do you think through this
Tara Bryan:problem. So the very first thing is to remember that you are
Tara Bryan:you're providing someone your perfect avatar, the fastest path
Tara Bryan:to this the solution that they want, right? So they have a
Tara Bryan:problem, you have a way to fix that problem. And so your job is
Tara Bryan:to provide them the fastest path to get to that outcome, right,
Tara Bryan:like period, end of report, that's why they're paying for
Tara Bryan:paying you. Because otherwise, like people can go out and they
Tara Bryan:can search YouTube, they can search the Google, they can do
Tara Bryan:all of the things to solve the problem they have. That's not
Tara Bryan:what they're doing. Right, they're paying you to give them
Tara Bryan:guidance, and to give them the fastest path to that result. So
Tara Bryan:hopefully you have that experience. And you can get them
Tara Bryan:through not only going through the path faster, but help them
Tara Bryan:overcome the obstacles and hurdles and all the other things
Tara Bryan:that you know are going to happen when they try and solve
Tara Bryan:their problem. Okay, so foundationally, that's first and
Tara Bryan:foremost. And in terms of remembering that that is your
Tara Bryan:goal. So all of the content that you're going to create for them,
Tara Bryan:it foundationally is going to get them on the path, so that
Tara Bryan:they can take the steps to solve the problem. That's it.
Tara Bryan:So from that regard, you want to drip out the content to them,
Tara Bryan:right, because you want to deliver it in a certain format,
Tara Bryan:in a certain way, and within a particular amount of time, so
Tara Bryan:that they can follow along and you're showing them the path,
Tara Bryan:right, if again, if they wanted to come in and randomly pick one
Tara Bryan:of the modules that you had in your program, or in your
Tara Bryan:experience, that's great. But that's not getting them any
Tara Bryan:further than just going out and Googling it right. And so your
Tara Bryan:job is to provide them that path. Now there's two different
Tara Bryan:ways that you can drip out content. The first way is time
Tara Bryan:based. So you're saying you are going to give them content on a
Tara Bryan:particular day or on a particular time. And that is if
Tara Bryan:you're doing a cohort or you have something going on in
Tara Bryan:between the time that you're releasing the first one and the
Tara Bryan:second one, and the third one, etc, etc. Right? So that's time
Tara Bryan:based dripping, meaning you're controlling when they're getting
Tara Bryan:access to each module lesson, whatever it is that you have
Tara Bryan:going on in the structure of your, your program that you're
Tara Bryan:giving them.
Tara Bryan:The other ways is progress based. So they complete this
Tara Bryan:first one, and then because they've completed this first
Tara Bryan:one, then they can get access to the second one. So someone could
Tara Bryan:still go through all of it in a compressed timeframe, but
Tara Bryan:they're going through it in order. Because if you've done
Tara Bryan:this correctly, and you're you mapped out the fastest path to
Tara Bryan:the result that somebody was, there is an order. It's step
Tara Bryan:one, step two, step three, step four, step five, etc. Right? And
Tara Bryan:so there's an order to it.
Tara Bryan:So that's why we recommend that you choose one of those two
Tara Bryan:dripping and that's the term for it. Dripping methods. So With
Tara Bryan:that you are helping somebody progress in an organized fashion
Tara Bryan:through their problem to the resolution, right? That is the
Tara Bryan:first sort of order of business. A lot of times people come to us
Tara Bryan:and they're like, well, we want to do a Netflix style, you know,
Tara Bryan:structure within the program. So people can just go and pick and
Tara Bryan:choose whatever they want and, and get what they need when they
Tara Bryan:want to, when they want to get it. And, and all of that
Tara Bryan:sometimes, you know, if you want to use a different term, it's
Tara Bryan:like a video vault, right? Where they just go in and grab what
Tara Bryan:they want, excuse me. But here's the problem is it think about
Tara Bryan:when you're going out to Netflix, you want to just like
Tara Bryan:Netflix and chill, right? Like, you want to just relax, you want
Tara Bryan:to go out and be entertained, you want to just grab something
Tara Bryan:you're in the mood for. But when you're learning something new,
Tara Bryan:when you are trying to solve a problem, you're actually like
Tara Bryan:looking for somebody to guide you down what the path is for
Tara Bryan:them to do that, right? Like you don't want to randomly go out.
Tara Bryan:You know, if you think about Netflix, and you're like, here,
Tara Bryan:you know, here are the top 10. Here, what people are watching
Tara Bryan:or hear is like the 42 million other options that you can
Tara Bryan:search for if you're in the mood based on topic or, you know,
Tara Bryan:movie genre or whatever, right? Its totally different intent. So
Tara Bryan:when you're creating your program, again, that's why we
Tara Bryan:recommend that dripped approach, either time based or progress
Tara Bryan:driven approach for your core curriculum. Now you're gonna
Tara Bryan:have additional modules, additional content, additional
Tara Bryan:things that will be helpful for people that may not fit within
Tara Bryan:that success path. And that's okay. And that can be served up
Tara Bryan:in sort of a more Netflix flicks, style where they can
Tara Bryan:pull in what they need, maybe they want to learn how to do a
Tara Bryan:specific thing, how to edit videos, how to do better videos,
Tara Bryan:how to start a podcast, all sorts of random topics that
Tara Bryan:aren't directly in your path of how you are teaching it so that
Tara Bryan:somebody gets from point A to point B, all of those can be
Tara Bryan:sort of open and available to someone at any point in time.
Tara Bryan:And in so it's really important that you are looking
Tara Bryan:strategically at how to structure your experience
Tara Bryan:regardless of if it's a membership, a course a program,
Tara Bryan:or whatever else you can dream up online, is that you have your
Tara Bryan:foundational content that gets them that resolution to that
Tara Bryan:problem. And then anything else right? Sometimes we say what's
Tara Bryan:need to know what's nice to know, right? Like, so you can
Tara Bryan:kind of structure it that way. But if you're asking yourself
Tara Bryan:that question of should I be dripping? Should I just have a
Tara Bryan:bunch of, you know, kind of modules or courses in a library,
Tara Bryan:should I have an extra, you know, section of content, where
Tara Bryan:it's like a video vault or it's Netflix style. That is how you
Tara Bryan:start to start to organize what you have. And if you're starting
Tara Bryan:from scratch, again, you're starting from that core. That
Tara Bryan:core success path, or the million dollar framework is what
Tara Bryan:we call it, you're starting with that piece, because that is your
Tara Bryan:job, your job is to get them the fastest path from where they are
Tara Bryan:today to where they want to go. And then everything else is just
Tara Bryan:bonus on top of that.
Tara Bryan:So hopefully this helps you if you're sort of like how do I
Tara Bryan:structure everything in there. And if you find yourself in a
Tara Bryan:place where everything is Netflix style, or just nice to
Tara Bryan:have video vault content, then my challenge to you is you need
Tara Bryan:to go back and identify your signature methodology how it is
Tara Bryan:that you get people from point A to point B, and make sure that
Tara Bryan:you have a really solid set of steps that gets them to that
Tara Bryan:resolution as quickly as possible. That is what they're
Tara Bryan:paying you for everything else is either not necessary, or
Tara Bryan:extra right or for their enjoyment for their extended
Tara Bryan:learning for their deeper dive for whatever purpose it serves.
Tara Bryan:But your core membership, your core online experience should
Tara Bryan:not just be a bunch of random videos that you're creating and
Tara Bryan:throwing in there. Alright, hopefully that serves you. This
Tara Bryan:is a really specific tactic, but it's one that I think a lot of
Tara Bryan:people struggle with when they're first trying to figure
Tara Bryan:out how to organize everything that they're doing. All right.
