Dr Andrew Godden talks to Professor Brice Dickson about his Stephen Livingstone Lecture, ‘The Problems with Human Rights’ On 21 November 2019, Professor Brice Dickson (Emeritus Professor of International and Comparative Law) delivered the Stephen Livingstone Lecture at the School of Law. His lecture, entitled ‘The Problems with Human Rights’, focused on the philosophical, legal and practical problems faced by human rights advocates in the modern world. This podcast explores Professor Dickson’s lecture in more detail, and includes discussion of a potential Bill of Rights for Northern Ireland and the challenges facing the human rights movement in the developing world.
