Garth is the recipient of awards from the JackWebster Foundation, the Canadian Association of Journalists, the New York International Radio Festival for material aired on CBC Radio, and the Carole
Geller Human RightsAward.
Garth is a leader in harm reduction and anti-gentrification campaigns and speaks often at conferences, demonstrations, and in the media. He holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and is the president of trade union local.
As an award-winning documentarian and long-time community organizer, he works tirelessly to stem to tide of overdose deaths in BC. Mr. Mullins is a key figure in the fight for much-needed changes to our antiquated, senseless laws.
