Shownotes
As we go about daily life, a lot of our behaviour is compelled by a deep desire to be seen as successful, attractive and admirable.
Maybe, we even want to be seen as better than others. Prettier, more intelligent, more successful or better at something. We all want to feel special.
But what it all boils down to is…we just want to be accepted. We just want to be loved.
In this episode of Mentally Stronger, I explore why we humans often find ourselves seeking to impress or compete with our peers, rather than form meaningful connections with them.
It’s easy for us to act based on extrinsic values and the opinions of others but, here, I offer advice on how we can change that and build strong, powerful connections with other people. By changing our behaviours, we can build trust, authenticity and love and live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
