Shownotes

Dr Alice Wynekoop was a well-respected physician, professor, feminist, civic leader and educator in child hygiene who found her daughter-in-law, dead in the basement of the 16 room family home.

Initial reports treated the crime as though police regarded it as a puzzle that might never be solved, but as the the facts fell into place, the clues all an obvious prime suspect, especially to those who sensed there was something unhealthy about a 62-year-old woman's love for her son. However, the real motive for the murder came as a surprise to nearly everyone and was alot more simple.
