Written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and starring Philippe Noiret, Jacques Perrin, Marco Leonardi, Agnese Nano, Salvatore Cascio and Leopoldo Trieste, Cinema Paradiso won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
