Hello Happiness Seekers
My name is Klaudia and you are listening to The Happiness Challenge.
This episode is part of the Happiness Reset Campaign where I bring you 25 bitesize episodes to inspire you to refocus on your happiness and fulfilment.
In each short episode I bring you one practical hack to create more happiness at work, in relationships and in your own skin.
Follow me on Linkedin and join my newsletter to share what hacks you are finding useful and to get free tickets to a webinar on the science of happiness that I will be hosting in February.
In this happiness hack, I am encouraging you to take a sound healing break
Sound with its vibrations interacts with the brain waves to trigger many biological responses
And the right type of sounds can activate the branch of the parasympathetic nervous system responsible for recovery and rest.
When you need to defuse a stressful moment, unwind from a challenging day or have a recovery break, take 5 or 10 minutes of time to listen to healing sounds to engage the parasympathetic nervous system and so slow your heart, blood circulation and move your body into a more relaxed state. Once your body is relaxed, it is easier for your mind to follow and let gp.
What sounds are classed as healing? Any sounds of nature or mono sounds like the sound of a gong will have the healing effect. My favourite are tracks by Molecular Vibrations
I have my rest and recovery playlist ready with healing sounds ready to soothe me after a stressful event. Because only by recovering and resting well can we bounce back to full happiness again.
Thank you for listening to the Happiness Reset Campaign, I hope this happiness hack is useful and impactful. To learn more listen to episode 75: how to relax and unwind with sound healing.
