I would never have even thought that.

CHELSEY DONN:

Hello

TREY GERRALD:

Oh, hello, and hello, listeners.

TREY GERRALD:

Welcome once again to Review That Review.

TREY GERRALD:

You know that we are the podcast that is dedicated to reviewing.

TREY GERRALD:

That is Chelsey

CHELSEY DONN:

and that is Trey Gerald

TREY GERRALD:

But together, just call us

VOICEOVER:

The review queens.

TREY GERRALD:

Queens.

TREY GERRALD:

We have a very exciting announcement.

TREY GERRALD:

The month of September, we are going to take our first ever And the three years of this podcast, our first ever little hiatus break.

TREY GERRALD:

So, okay, what does that mean?

TREY GERRALD:

That sounds like a really big word.

TREY GERRALD:

It sounds really scary.

TREY GERRALD:

What we're doing is we're going to use this opportunity, while Chelsey and Trey in the Time Machine Realtime are working behind the scenes on part two of this announcement.

TREY GERRALD:

You won't really notice a difference.

TREY GERRALD:

That's very important to both of us.

TREY GERRALD:

So, for the next couple of weeks, you're going to be getting hand selected for fan favorite episodes that maybe you have not listened to since it first aired three years ago.

CHELSEY DONN:

or maybe you started listening to the show less than three years ago so you don't even know about these gems that exist in the early days.

TREY GERRALD:

Exactly, that's a really good point, because sometimes it's like you join a show later, because your friend recommended it, and then you just get lost.

TREY GERRALD:

So we're going to highlight some of those favorites.

TREY GERRALD:

Some of these that we have picked are like turning points in the show, where something unlocked for us that sort of, you know, Had a ripple effect for the remainder of the show, which segues to the next part of this, because while we are on hiatus, Chelsey and I are working behind the scenes to come back in a more powerful, dynamic, exciting way.

TREY GERRALD:

We're going to have ratcheted everything up like 18 points.

TREY GERRALD:

We're really excited for the next chapter, we're calling it.

TREY GERRALD:

So, a little mini break, and then we'll return.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's right.

CHELSEY DONN:

And also, while we're on break, a little thing you could do that could greatly help us with this next chapter would be please share the podcast with your friends.

CHELSEY DONN:

We also would love if you would leave us a five star review on Apple Podcasts.

CHELSEY DONN:

We don't ask you guys to do this a lot, but right now, if you're sitting on it, if you were thinking about it, if you were waiting, now is the time.

CHELSEY DONN:

We really need your support in order for Trey and I to bring this show to the next level to give you guys even more of hopefully what you're going to love to evolve the show into something that is even greater than it is right now.

CHELSEY DONN:

So if you could please just take the time to leave us a five star review, share the podcast with your friends, it would really mean the world to us.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, wait, we'll wait right now.

TREY GERRALD:

Go ahead and do it right

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh yeah, oh wait,

TREY GERRALD:

We sort of realized since we are a show that reviews reviews, it was sort of obnoxious to constantly be like, leave us a review.

CHELSEY DONN:

right.

TREY GERRALD:

if you don't know, the only way the podcasts grow in the algorithm is when people share it or when someone leaves a review.

TREY GERRALD:

So just share it.

TREY GERRALD:

Just text the link to your friend right now.

TREY GERRALD:

Do it.

TREY GERRALD:

It'll help.

TREY GERRALD:

Thank you.

CHELSEY DONN:

Thank you.

CHELSEY DONN:

Thank you.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, in the spirit of that, Chelsey, should we jump into an online review?

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my God.

CHELSEY DONN:

Let's do it.

VOICEOVER:

Review that review.

CHELSEY DONN:

As your trusty Review Queens, we bring in reviews from the internet that we feel need to be inspected.

TREY GERRALD:

We read you a review, we break it down, and rate the impact of that review on a scale from zero to five crowns.

TREY GERRALD:

It's a really regal process that we call.

VOICEOVER:

Assess that keve.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's right.

TREY GERRALD:

And Chelsey, with this whole conversation around breaks, what could you possibly have sourced for us today?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know, Trey, give me a break.

VOICEOVER:

a break.

VOICEOVER:

Gimme a break.

VOICEOVER:

Break me off a,

VOICEOVER:

gimme a break.

VOICEOVER:

Break me off a piece of that kit bar that make go the A break.

VOICEOVER:

Give me a break, break me off a piece of that, break me off a piece of that, break me off a piece of that Kit Kat

CHELSEY DONN:

That's right.

CHELSEY DONN:

Do you remember the commercial that was like 90s all the rage?

TREY GERRALD:

Wait, I totally remember the theme song, like, so hardcore, and they don't even use it anymore!

TREY GERRALD:

It's not, like, their slogan.

TREY GERRALD:

Exactly!

CHELSEY DONN:

bar you can share.

CHELSEY DONN:

Give it a break.

CHELSEY DONN:

Break for me, break for you.

CHELSEY DONN:

I do love a Kit Kat.

TREY GERRALD:

Kakana's definitely one of my favorites.

CHELSEY DONN:

So, I wanted to delve into Gimme a Break territory, but I was thinking in the spirit of delving into a new chapter of the show,

CHELSEY DONN:

a lot of you have been talking to me about these TikTok reviews.

CHELSEY DONN:

And how there's all these kids out there on TikTok that are really dedicating their time to reviewing products and I thought what a missed opportunity Trey and I don't really delve into that so much so I looked for some KitKat reviews And I did find this particular review on TikTok by a user named

CHELSEY DONN:

jshock9, the number 9, and then 9 written out, jshock99, and then they also just kind of go by jshock, they're pretty popular, they have 93.

CHELSEY DONN:

8 thousand followers, and 1.

CHELSEY DONN:

4 million likes,

CHELSEY DONN:

in their profile, they say let's go mucking, Trey, do you know what mucking means?,

TREY GERRALD:

Like mukbang?

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my god, do you know about mukbang?

TREY GERRALD:

Oh, I definitely know about mukbang.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, do you want to tell our listeners?

CHELSEY DONN:

Because I literally had to look it up on

CHELSEY DONN:

Urban

CHELSEY DONN:

Dictionary.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, okay, I know, I know that it originated in an Asian country

CHELSEY DONN:

Korea.

TREY GERRALD:

like watching people eat food.

TREY GERRALD:

I know about it and it's distilled, I guess, appropriated form by Trisha Paytas,

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

who like will go to like McDonald's and do a mukbang.

TREY GERRALD:

Is that right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, so it's like, it's gluttonous, overindulgence, It is something that originated in Korea, It's a mixed term, Mukja for eating, Bangsong for broadcasting.

TREY GERRALD:

Ah,

CHELSEY DONN:

So that's part of J Shock's whole brand, they have a ton of videos of them just eating various foods, fast foods, candies, all kinds of things, and talking about it, so I thought, why not go to the expert, right?

CHELSEY DONN:

In this particular review, J Shock isn't reviewing any ordinary, regular, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious in oneself, Avacodo, not cool!

CHELSEY DONN:

KitKat, they're actually reviewing the

CHELSEY DONN:

KitKat Chocolate Frosted Donut Wafer Candy Bars.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, we're gonna play this review for you to listen to.

TREY GERRALD:

the

VOICEOVER:

flavor.

VOICEOVER:

Chocolate Frosted Donut.

TREY GERRALD:

video.

VOICEOVER:

it's currently ChocoClock.

VOICEOVER:

And it's time to review this.

VOICEOVER:

I've had this sitting in my fridge for a couple weeks now.

VOICEOVER:

Thank you to my brother, Christian, for giving this to me.

VOICEOVER:

Oh my god, it smells so good, guys.

VOICEOVER:

I don't think it smells like a donut, but it does smell damn good.

VOICEOVER:

I got the king size too.

VOICEOVER:

So I wanna do this right, I wanna break it off.

VOICEOVER:

Look at this.

VOICEOVER:

Good God.

VOICEOVER:

Alright, here we go.

CHELSEY DONN:

Hear that crunch.

VOICEOVER:

ShockSquad, believe me, this tastes, if not better, but EXACTLY like a chocolate donut.

VOICEOVER:

What the frick?

VOICEOVER:

If you go to Dunkin Donuts, it'll taste like this, but better.

VOICEOVER:

If you go to Krispy Kreme Donuts, it'll taste like this, but better.

VOICEOVER:

Why not make a KitKat donut?

VOICEOVER:

I'm in heaven.

VOICEOVER:

I'm not even a big sweets guy, but I am in heaven.

VOICEOVER:

Buy it.

VOICEOVER:

Please.

VOICEOVER:

Tell them Shock sent you.

VOICEOVER:

Easy 8.

VOICEOVER:

4 out of 9.

VOICEOVER:

Easily.

VOICEOVER:

Easily.

VOICEOVER:

Guys, come a bit closer.

VOICEOVER:

You guys might be wondering, Yo, G Shock, I see a lightning bolt on your shirt.

VOICEOVER:

Is that your new merch?

VOICEOVER:

It is.

VOICEOVER:

It is one of the shirts I will be releasing.

VOICEOVER:

So, this is a little sneak peek, little mini reveal, but this is sick.

VOICEOVER:

This is my merch.

VOICEOVER:

Shout out to, um, Struck out for collab with me on it and, and making it my vision come to life.

VOICEOVER:

These will be coming out very soon, within the next week.

VOICEOVER:

I'm gonna try to have them come out within that time, but make sure you're following me.

VOICEOVER:

If you want to get one of these.

VOICEOVER:

They're very limited.

VOICEOVER:

I'm going to be doing a whole separate video for them.

VOICEOVER:

My guys, Jay Shock is here to stay forever, clock anytime of the day.

VOICEOVER:

Anytime of the day.

VOICEOVER:

So without further ado, I'm gonna hit you with that shock out.

VOICEOVER:

Lemme know what you wanna see in the next one.

VOICEOVER:

Yes, shock out.

CHELSEY DONN:

Shock out any time of day, any time of day, boys.

TREY GERRALD:

Wow, shock o'clock.

CHELSEY DONN:

o'clock,

TREY GERRALD:

Well, I'm very struck by the catchphrases, which, like,

CHELSEY DONN:

a

CHELSEY DONN:

catchphrase.

CHELSEY DONN:

Shout

TREY GERRALD:

Shock o'clock, shock out, shock cincha, shock merch,

CHELSEY DONN:

out to my brother, Christian.

TREY GERRALD:

brother, yeah, I caught that.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yep,

CHELSEY DONN:

What the

CHELSEY DONN:

frick, what the frick?

CHELSEY DONN:

Very endearing.

TREY GERRALD:

He sounds like he's, like, from Jersey.

TREY GERRALD:

the frick?

CHELSEY DONN:

the frick?

TREY GERRALD:

or like the Bronx.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, so, we did actually get a numeric rating here, he says, 8.

TREY GERRALD:

4

CHELSEY DONN:

Out of nine?

TREY GERRALD:

Easily,

CHELSEY DONN:

Easily, but also how arbitrary?

CHELSEY DONN:

Why out of nine?

TREY GERRALD:

well that's what I wanted to say,

CHELSEY DONN:

Out of nine?

TREY GERRALD:

the rating system 9,

CHELSEY DONN:

is it?

TREY GERRALD:

4, like why was it not 3,

CHELSEY DONN:

Or

CHELSEY DONN:

point five?

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, I wonder, like, what it takes to have a J Shock 9 out of 9,

TREY GERRALD:

do you think it's always 9?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know,

TREY GERRALD:

there's an earlier video where J Shock explains.

CHELSEY DONN:

maybe, maybe, but they're in heaven, they loved it,

TREY GERRALD:

I understand that I, uh, I'm a little bizarro.

TREY GERRALD:

Like I like vanilla ice cream.

CHELSEY DONN:

mhm,

TREY GERRALD:

get a cheeseburger, I want a cheeseburger.

CHELSEY DONN:

sure,

TREY GERRALD:

Texas rodeo barbecue jalapeno burger.

TREY GERRALD:

Like if it's too many things, it, I, it doesn't taste like the thing anymore.

TREY GERRALD:

I like my coffee black.

TREY GERRALD:

So any of these artificial flavors really tripped me

CHELSEY DONN:

mhm,

TREY GERRALD:

just instantly think KitKat.

TREY GERRALD:

is so distinctive and good.

TREY GERRALD:

I don't need a different flavor.

CHELSEY DONN:

right,

TREY GERRALD:

And I think that that's a fear.

TREY GERRALD:

I guess it's coming

CHELSEY DONN:

Have you ever had, like, a strawberry ones or the matcha ones, or the chocolate matcha,

TREY GERRALD:

I've seen the pink ones, but you know, this makes me think of that candy Pocky.

CHELSEY DONN:

yes, I love Pocky,

TREY GERRALD:

I love Pocky.

CHELSEY DONN:

so good,

TREY GERRALD:

that's a, is that a pretzel?

TREY GERRALD:

Or is that a wafer?

TREY GERRALD:

That's

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it's,

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it's like, yeah, it's like halfway between a wafer and a pretzel.

CHELSEY DONN:

It feels kind of, I understand, it's not a full pretzel, but it is sort of like a pretzel stick, but a wafer stick.

TREY GERRALD:

and those that are dipped, I'll tell you, I prefer the chocolate over the strawberry

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay,

CHELSEY DONN:

yeah, I like the chocolate with the almond, but I hear you, like, I'm a little bit of a purist as well, like, already, We know as we get older, our preferences for chocolate, I think, sort of change, like, when I was a kid, It was, like, Kit Kat Snickers was the top of the line, now that I'm, like, a little bit older, I like a little more high quality, so I think that if I'm gonna eat some of this, like, More Halloween esque candy, I would rather have the nostalgic feeling than a new chocolate donut feeling, you know what I mean?

CHELSEY DONN:

I am a little suspicious.

TREY GERRALD:

but I was also struck because J Shock is like, he like, tastes it, and he's instantly like, oh, this is really good,

CHELSEY DONN:

Right.

TREY GERRALD:

like a Jessica Donut, because even when we did the Thanksgiving, like the soda,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

like that is so far removed from a drink,

CHELSEY DONN:

right.

TREY GERRALD:

like, there's no way this won't be artificial, But this is just like, it's a chocolate, it's candy, that they're making taste like,

CHELSEY DONN:

Sure.

CHELSEY DONN:

Sure.

TREY GERRALD:

how the threshold is closer,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:

but after watching this, I think I would give it a try before.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm sort of like, don't mess with a good thing.

TREY GERRALD:

But now I'm sort of like, well, I would still buy an original, but I would maybe alternate.

CHELSEY DONN:

definitely something to say about seeing someone eat something.

CHELSEY DONN:

First of all, mad, like, shout out to J Shock for doing it right, breaking it off, do it right.

CHELSEY DONN:

I love that.

CHELSEY DONN:

He gave it a break and there's something to be said for seeing someone consume something on the internet.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's not just somebody that's written something down.

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, we're watching him eat it.

CHELSEY DONN:

He's obviously liking it.

CHELSEY DONN:

He's not spitting it out.

TREY GERRALD:

Correct.

TREY GERRALD:

I will say, since we're reviewing it,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

feel like there could be a few more descriptives.

TREY GERRALD:

I think when it's written, you have to be more

CHELSEY DONN:

okay, fair.

TREY GERRALD:

to make up for the natural presentation of just visually

CHELSEY DONN:

not getting the moans.

TREY GERRALD:

We're not getting, like, the impact

CHELSEY DONN:

Right.

TREY GERRALD:

receptors.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:

He just says it tastes like a donut and that it's really good and he eats

CHELSEY DONN:

Right.

TREY GERRALD:

it which is satisfying it's a KitKat so I don't know how like detailed I need it to be but I just have to point out one of the queenliest moves here did you catch the J Shock said that it has been in the fridge for a few days?

CHELSEY DONN:

I did not.

TREY GERRALD:

Right at the tippy top.

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh, you're right.

TREY GERRALD:

Ooh, changes the game for me.

TREY GERRALD:

That's also why when he snaps it, like a

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh, it gets a little more snap.

TREY GERRALD:

comes off.

TREY GERRALD:

Right.

TREY GERRALD:

Also, when you eat a Kit Kat, do you break them all?

TREY GERRALD:

Or do you just break one

CHELSEY DONN:

One at a time.

TREY GERRALD:

Oh, I break them all.

CHELSEY DONN:

them all.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

satisfying about snapping it when it's still inside the package that gives me a thrill.

CHELSEY DONN:

You break it inside the package?

TREY GERRALD:

I feel for the like,

CHELSEY DONN:

The indentation?

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my god.

CHELSEY DONN:

I've never done that.

TREY GERRALD:

because then you don't have to suck your fingers as much.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's kind of smart.

CHELSEY DONN:

I would never have even thought that.

CHELSEY DONN:

What do we think about the, it's interesting because normally in a written review, I would really ding someone for the merch like selling.

CHELSEY DONN:

This is a visual forum.

CHELSEY DONN:

So and he has a community and he's wearing this shirt.

CHELSEY DONN:

So how do we feel about deviating from the subject matter?

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, I was a little, like, side eye y about it as well,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

if you're looking at the statistical ratio of how much of the video is the content that the title says it is,

CHELSEY DONN:

right.

TREY GERRALD:

you hawking your wares,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:

like they went on a little

CHELSEY DONN:

Tangent.

TREY GERRALD:

about the, about the shirt, like, I think it would have been cuter to end with, Oh, did you see the shirt?

TREY GERRALD:

Get ready, it's coming soon,

CHELSEY DONN:

Right, or like, you know what, I was sort of wanting, I was just wanting one moment of back to the Kit Kat, like, blah, blah, blah, merch, here's the thing, thanks, shout out to my boy, blah, blah, blah, like, you'll be able to buy it, also, gotta reiterate, get this Kit Kat bar, get it while you can, because you don't know, flavors come and go, and you want to buy this one before it's off the shelves, you know, tell me what you want me to review next, something about just like bringing it back

CHELSEY DONN:

would have been satisfying, I think,

TREY GERRALD:

that too.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think for spelling and grammar, we could talk about the use of language, like, what the frick?

CHELSEY DONN:

I sort of enjoyed their vernacular or their, their way of speaking.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, it's personality driven, so that's

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

Like, I would want to see other reviews from J

CHELSEY DONN:

yeah, J Shock based off of like, oh, they have kind of a cool way of speaking,

CHELSEY DONN:

Truthful Shady,

TREY GERRALD:

I think he's, I think they're being truthful.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it's truthful, I think it's really hard to fake being truthful in a video, which is sort of refreshing,

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, that's

CHELSEY DONN:

now this is a big question mark for me is, you know, is this common or typical,

TREY GERRALD:

See, and that's where I feel like a little more info, but I'm just coming at this video for the video, not knowing J Shock's normal appetite or normal palate of taste.

CHELSEY DONN:

true.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's interesting that they say they're not a big sweets guy, but they definitely review a lot of sweets.

TREY GERRALD:

So there you

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, I, I feel like this would be a somewhat divisive product.

TREY GERRALD:

you mess with an original it's going to be divisive, but as I said before, it's like a small margin of error here,

CHELSEY DONN:

right.

TREY GERRALD:

making chocolate taste like

CHELSEY DONN:

Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, I was,

CHELSEY DONN:

I was entertained.

CHELSEY DONN:

I was humored.

CHELSEY DONN:

I like the personality of J Shock.

CHELSEY DONN:

And also at Impact, would I try it based off of J Shock's review?

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, I want

CHELSEY DONN:

I think that if I was at a store and I saw it at checkout, I might be compelled to impulse buy.

TREY GERRALD:

Interesting, because I think I would never

CHELSEY DONN:

Really?

TREY GERRALD:

No, I would be like, where's the real one?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, where's the donut?

CHELSEY DONN:

Or where's the,

CHELSEY DONN:

like, I'll take a, I'll take a real Kit Kat and I'll take a regular chocolate glazed donut.

TREY GERRALD:

If I saw this KitKat, would be like, where's the real one?

CHELSEY DONN:

Interesting.

TREY GERRALD:

if I'm gonna pay the, what are KitKats now?

TREY GERRALD:

5, 4, like the sensation of

CHELSEY DONN:

this was a king size.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

TREY GERRALD:

size.

TREY GERRALD:

I always do king or share

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, yes.

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, hello, but I wouldn't leave any variable of error.

TREY GERRALD:

I would just go for what I know.

TREY GERRALD:

So, but that's how we're

CHELSEY DONN:

Like there's not even an air of curiosity from seeing J Shock eat it.

CHELSEY DONN:

That if you happened upon this product, you might be like, I wonder if I feel how J Shock feels.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, no, after watching J Shock, I want to taste it, but having seen that it existed before, it was a passing glance.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think that that's impactful because like, like I agree before watching this review, I'd be like, I could take it and leave it after watching it now.

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, I'm sort of curious.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think if I saw it, I might be like, do I feel like J shock feels,

CHELSEY DONN:

um, So I do think that there's an impact there.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think I could probably crown J Shock.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, let's crown him.

TREY GERRALD:

Alright, so, Chelsey and I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards.

TREY GERRALD:

In an effort to be fair and not influenced by one another, we will simultaneously reveal our rating.

VOICEOVER:

The queens are tabulating

VOICEOVER:

school,

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

I'm holding up four and a half crowns, Trey, you're holding up three and a half crowns.

CHELSEY DONN:

Why did you go with three and a half for J Shock?

TREY GERRALD:

Well, I'm just trying to, like, do I think that this is a really valuable review?

TREY GERRALD:

I don't.

TREY GERRALD:

I don't think there's enough really there, but I think because it's a TikTok account where it's really personality driven, it's also why the merch pushing doesn't bother me.

TREY GERRALD:

It's sort of like, They have so many followers and so many likes so it's obviously working and people are resonating and sometimes with the personality based it's more about the whole collection of like the doom scrolling

CHELSEY DONN:

I

TREY GERRALD:

is about the actual product.

TREY GERRALD:

I do feel like I could Get more useful information somewhere else.

TREY GERRALD:

But because it's personality and it's a TikTok and this young kid has created a brand, like that's all really awesome.

TREY GERRALD:

So ultimately at the end of the day, like I would probably subscribe and I now want to taste it.

TREY GERRALD:

So three and a half, it's like, good job.

TREY GERRALD:

Why did you do a whole crown more at four and a half?

CHELSEY DONN:

really like J Shock.

CHELSEY DONN:

There's something so Super endearing about them.

CHELSEY DONN:

I can see why they have so many followers.

CHELSEY DONN:

I can see why people want to follow them.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's the right, um, I guess, pun intended, bite size amount of review for this platform.

CHELSEY DONN:

And so I think in terms of considering this review, where it lies, my I think it's a four and a half and mostly I think what convinced me and put me over the edge was that conversation we circle back to at the end of Impact.

CHELSEY DONN:

I really don't think I would have considered eating this product, but after watching J Shock eat it live on the air, I'm a little curious to know if I would feel the same way.

CHELSEY DONN:

So for that Impact, I guess that was what really pushed it over the edge for me and that's why I gave J Shock 4.

CHELSEY DONN:

5 crowns because I thought almost a review queen.

CHELSEY DONN:

I really, really like them.

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, I, I would

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, I would follow.

CHELSEY DONN:

I'm gonna follow.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, great job.

TREY GERRALD:

Great.

TREY GERRALD:

Find.

CHELSEY DONN:

Thank you.

CHELSEY DONN:

All right, Trey.

CHELSEY DONN:

So I just want you to sort of guess here because I did do a little bit more research for this review.

CHELSEY DONN:

Do you have any idea?

CHELSEY DONN:

Because there is a little bit of a consensus.

CHELSEY DONN:

I looked on Hershey.

CHELSEY DONN:

com, Walmart.

CHELSEY DONN:

com and Amazon to see what the overall is for this product.

CHELSEY DONN:

Any guesses?

TREY GERRALD:

This specific

CHELSEY DONN:

specific, yes, KitKat chocolate frosted donut wafer, candy bars,

TREY GERRALD:

I'm wondering if it's going to have a higher rating on Hershey because if you're going to Hershey.

TREY GERRALD:

com, you're a real enthusiast

CHELSEY DONN:

mm hmm,

TREY GERRALD:

if it would have the opposite impact where they're more like me, where they're like, I like Hershey, stop reinventing the

CHELSEY DONN:

mm hmm,

TREY GERRALD:

versus Amazon.

TREY GERRALD:

I feel like Amazon's probably the lowest Walmart.

TREY GERRALD:

I think Amazon's probably the lowest.

TREY GERRALD:

And then I think Walmart is probably middle of the road.

TREY GERRALD:

I feel like you're shopping more in person at Walmart than online.

TREY GERRALD:

So like you might be more adventurous cause you're in your car.

TREY GERRALD:

I think the Hershey people are going to be into it.

TREY GERRALD:

I think it's going to have the highest rating on Hershey.

TREY GERRALD:

I think Hershey is going to be 4.

TREY GERRALD:

5.

TREY GERRALD:

Walmart's to be 3.

TREY GERRALD:

1.

TREY GERRALD:

And Amazon, I think is going to be like 2.

TREY GERRALD:

9.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, pretty, pretty close.

CHELSEY DONN:

It was the Hershey site was the top, but it still is only a 3.

CHELSEY DONN:

9.

CHELSEY DONN:

Then beneath that was Amazon at a 3.

CHELSEY DONN:

7,

CHELSEY DONN:

and then at the bottom was Walmart with a 3.

CHELSEY DONN:

3.

CHELSEY DONN:

And I wanted to quickly just read a couple of reviews, just to see if it changes our opinion, so on Hershey, we have a two star review from Jax23 that says, Meh, these tastes and smell like candle wax, that's it, I have nothing else to say,

TREY GERRALD:

Hmm.

CHELSEY DONN:

I kind of can believe that.

CHELSEY DONN:

On Walmart, uh, written by Wendy G., Flavor is disgraceful, One Star, I used to clean houses for a living, I gagged when I first tasted this Kit Kat chocolate frosted donut last evening, The flavor is that smell which hits you in the face as you open a refrigerator that's been cleaned out but it's sat in an empty house or apartment unopened and off for weeks, I threw it away, it was a waste of two dollars.

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, that's such a specific smell, but also, like, what?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, it's interesting to be like, it smelled like a fridge that was cleaned out,

CHELSEY DONN:

so it's not dirty, but then it sat?

CHELSEY DONN:

What does that mean?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know.

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know that I know that smell, but I think it's interesting that Wendy was like, I clean houses for a living, I know exactly what this is, and then on Amazon, One Star Review, written by E.,

CHELSEY DONN:

tastes artificial and not close to as described, these taste terrible, as soon as it hit my teeth, they hurt, too sweet, and artificial tasting, doesn't remind me of a donut at all, tastes sort of like butterscotch flavor, but not in a good way, So, not everybody agrees with J Shock.

TREY GERRALD:

That's really interesting though.

TREY GERRALD:

But, but J Shock is just like, this is good.

TREY GERRALD:

I like it.

TREY GERRALD:

It tastes like a

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

Buy my merch.

TREY GERRALD:

These people are like, I don't like it, this is why.

TREY GERRALD:

is interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

there's more need to defend yourself when you're writing versus You're watching me enjoy it, so I'm enjoying it.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think so.

CHELSEY DONN:

I felt that way even when like we've done live reviews

CHELSEY DONN:

of products.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, I want to talk through but I also want to be like, playing with the shake weight.

CHELSEY DONN:

You know what I mean?

TREY GERRALD:

Well, it is also that thing where it's like every morning show, where like they're cooking, it's like,

TREY GERRALD:

This sauteed cabbage.

CHELSEY DONN:

I know.

CHELSEY DONN:

I know.

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, like J Shock's not getting any kick back for

TREY GERRALD:

he?

CHELSEY DONN:

how he's not, there's a link in bio to buy

CHELSEY DONN:

this Kit Kat.

CHELSEY DONN:

So I think that they're just doing it.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it's just like anything else, right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like,

TREY GERRALD:

think it's like, let me just review this.

TREY GERRALD:

It's

CHELSEY DONN:

yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

And also like some people are going to like it and some people aren't like the complaint about it being too sweet.

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, it's going to be too sweet for some and not too sweet for others.

CHELSEY DONN:

The candle thing I totally get because I think that that is why I'm a little bit more of a purist because I

CHELSEY DONN:

I think once you start putting all those like extra flavors in there, it does almost feel candle like.

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

All right, Queen.

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, we've done it.

CHELSEY DONN:

We've reached the most regal portion of our show.

CHELSEY DONN:

Who are you inducting Trey for?

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

VOICEOVER:

my Royal Highness.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, I'm gonna try to verbalize what this sensation is, but today I really have to induct this thing that occurs.

TREY GERRALD:

So it can be like at work with coworkers, it can be like with a friend or someone in a group setting, it can literally be with a stranger when you're like in line paying for your gas, or if you're like at the grocery store.

TREY GERRALD:

I want to induct that darting eye of knowingness.

TREY GERRALD:

with other people.

TREY GERRALD:

Like, so it, it, it can happen in any scenario, but like, if you're at work and someone's being cuckoo, like if you just catch eyes with someone else in the space and you know exactly what they're thinking, or you can just telepathically communicate, like, bitch, we got to talk about this later.

TREY GERRALD:

It used to happen in the subway, like when someone would be a little out of pocket and you would just.

TREY GERRALD:

and catch eyes with someone else who is like stuck in this tube

CHELSEY DONN:

Mmm.

TREY GERRALD:

and you just make this second of connection.

CHELSEY DONN:

Haha.

TREY GERRALD:

It's like you're breaking the fourth wall.

TREY GERRALD:

You just step outside of what's happening and it's like, bitch.

TREY GERRALD:

That it's so like, it's like instantly like connecting and grounding, but it's also so I the word I want to say is cunty.

TREY GERRALD:

It's like so delicious to just sort of be like.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, we see what's happening, right?

TREY GERRALD:

Because it's like breaking like the social construct of behavior that you have to conform

CHELSEY DONN:

Mmm.

TREY GERRALD:

just sort of be like, I know this bitch is crazy, right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Mmm.

TREY GERRALD:

It feels like so affirming.

TREY GERRALD:

I think I verbalized it how I want to, but so for that reason, just that knowing glance, where you're like on the same page with someone and it may not be like the page you're supposed to be on that sensation i'm inducting

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:

that is my royal highness

CHELSEY DONN:

I love that.

CHELSEY DONN:

I love that you've been going so meta with these royal highneesses lately, Trey, I really appreciate them.

CHELSEY DONN:

I love that too.

CHELSEY DONN:

And I love like, when you can do it in a way that is so subtle.

CHELSEY DONN:

Right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, so it's not going to necessarily offend the person.

CHELSEY DONN:

The person that is like behaving in the activity is not going to cock it.

CHELSEY DONN:

It needs to be done like subtle, like it's barely a movement of the eye.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's just like, like you said, almost a telepathic exchange.

CHELSEY DONN:

I do love that.

TREY GERRALD:

reminds me of, like, doing community theater as a kid, and, like, if something went wrong, and you would just make eyes with, like, another ensemble member, like, a whole dialogue would be happening silently.

TREY GERRALD:

Like, I think

CHELSEY DONN:

Totally.

TREY GERRALD:

of that as an adult, where I'm like, okay, well,

CHELSEY DONN:

agree.

CHELSEY DONN:

I love that.

CHELSEY DONN:

What a great induction.

TREY GERRALD:

you.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, we did a queen.

TREY GERRALD:

That is another round on the RUARQ Ferris wheel of RUARQ.

TREY GERRALD:

8.4 out of nine easily.

CHELSEY DONN:

Easily.

CHELSEY DONN:

Easily 8.

489.

TREY GERRALD:

review for Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein Grain Free Natural Adult Wet Cat Food Variety Pack

VOICEOVER:

It's super color, fragile.

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, that's left me wondering why, why, why this was said.

TREY GERRALD:

I wonder what Sarah McLachlan thinks about that song, her song being co opted like that, because I really think of it

CHELSEY DONN:

But she, but she was in the ad.

CHELSEY DONN:

She was like, I'm Sarah McLaughlin, and like, this is what, so I think that she must be passionate about the cause.

CHELSEY DONN:

There's something about the word pate.

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know.

TREY GERRALD:

oh, pΓ’tΓ©, it makes me think of Grey

CHELSEY DONN:
