Hello and welcome back to another
episode of After The Hustle Podcast.
2
:Okay, so this episode is very long
overdue, um, because it's just
3
:one of those questions, right?
4
:I'm really on this theme of answering
all the questions that you shouldn't have
5
:to ask, you know, That's where we're at.
6
:Um, and I think also with the introduction
of my solo sessions, which are 60 minute
7
:one off, like all the magic happens on the
call, um, sessions, I thought it was even
8
:more important for me to explain kind of
the differences between that and private
9
:coaching and why you Consider private
coaching over that if that makes sense.
10
:Um, either way, I'm happy if we get
to work together I'm over the moon
11
:regardless rainbow sprinkles all of
that But there are a few key differences
12
:beyond obviously the duration and the
length of time That come into play when
13
:it comes to private coaching and it can
be difficult to decide The other caveat
14
:that I would make really clear is With the
solo sessions, um, you know, I describe
15
:them as the closest thing that you can
ever get to a free trial of my coaching.
16
:So what actually happens when you book
a solo session, you also get a very
17
:special offer, um, that allows you to
upgrade to private coaching and it will
18
:take your initial investment off of
the total price of private coaching.
19
:Um, and you'll still get your
full entitlement of sessions.
20
:So essentially what you can do if
you are in that space where you're
21
:like, eh, not sure, is book a
solo session, um, to try it out.
22
:If that's good and you get
everything you need, amazing.
23
:If you're like, actually, this
has shown me so many different
24
:areas that I want to work on, you
can upgrade to private coaching.
25
:And ultimately what this
special offer does is it just
26
:makes your solo session free.
27
:Um, so that is a caveat that I want to
give, um, and you get the details of
28
:that when you book, um, the solo session,
so it's all there, you don't need to do
29
:anything special about it, you literally
just need to book a consultation call
30
:or let me know that you want to kind
of upgrade, um, even if you try and go
31
:straight through to upgrade, we're going
to have that consultation call anyway,
32
:because I'm a big believer of ensuring
that when you invest in private coaching,
33
:you start off with the right skills,
34
:we both know what we're working on.
35
:We know the specific milestones
and the route to your goal.
36
:So.
37
:little heads up for those of you who are
like, cool, I'm going to do solo session
38
:and I'm going to just become a three month
private coaching client the day after
39
:we do have that little step in between.
40
:Um, but we keep that step snappy anyway.
41
:So the core differences that I would
say when it comes to deciding between
42
:the solo session and the private
coaching session before I dive into
43
:The key things with private coaching
is that if you know exactly what you
44
:want, we can dive into solo, right?
45
:So if you know you perhaps want to
review you want clarity around the
46
:decision you want to uncover your
blocks around imposter syndrome or
47
:building confidence authentically
you want to work on goals and why
48
:you haven't been getting them, right?
49
:There's something specific that you
want However, if there is an element
50
:of figuring out and clarifying what you
want, like big picture, then private
51
:coaching is better for you because we
will have the space to expand on that.
52
:And to be honest with you, between the
consultation call and the 90 minute vision
53
:setting, call, like the kickoff call that
we get, we do all of that clarifying.
54
:So please don't think that we're going
to spend three months just mulling over
55
:and reflecting and brainstorming, right?
56
:We're, we're really about that
action, but we do definitely have
57
:plenty of space for that, um,
figuring out a portion of things.
58
:So that's the key differentiator that I
will say is the specificity of your goal.
59
:If it's hella specific, You know
exactly what you need from me, you want
60
:from me, you come in full of beans.
61
:Solo session's good for you.
62
:If it's some figuring out,
we need more space for that.
63
:And then beyond that, there's four
things to kind of keep in mind when
64
:it comes to private coaching and
understanding if it's right for you.
65
:So the first thing with private
coaching is it is three months,
66
:so it is for the journey.
67
:That's how I describe
it, it's for the journey.
68
:It is comprehensive support
and accountability for the
69
:full three months, right?
70
:And when I say accountability,
this isn't babysitting.
71
:Um, this is having support in your
corner for when it gets tough, right?
72
:A voice note before the interview and a
space to WhatsApp when something exciting
73
:comes up is what I mean in terms of
accountability all led by you, right?
74
:I am only sliding.
75
:In your whatsapps, right?
76
:If you have invited me to, if you want
me to check in on you before or after the
77
:interview, if you want to have a quick
chat and things like that, it's all very
78
:much led by you, but it's for the journey.
79
:I'm there for the in between bits that
are outside of our coaching sessions.
80
:The other thing is that private coaching
is perfect for a longer transformation.
81
:So figuring out those next steps, taking
them, falling short a little bit, and
82
:then getting back up will all happen,
and we'll have space and capacity for it.
83
:And with private coaching,
I'm there for all of it.
84
:So you can build your resilience
plan for when it happens
85
:outside of our coaching, right?
86
:There's a big thing, I think there's
a lot of coaches, like I, don't get me
87
:wrong, I love it when people resign,
they decide to renew for a further three
88
:years, Three months, but I'm really
big on, you know, If I give you a fish
89
:you eat for one day if I teach you to
fish you eat forever That's the energy
90
:that i'm with so actually through being
in that space of okay falling short of
91
:stuff falling off track Getting unfocused
and then coming back on me being there
92
:allows you to build that resilience
plan And also start to integrate right
93
:integrate and apply and trial and error
and experiment with me there You as a
94
:sort of, um, support system allows you
to then build in those, those tools and
95
:those resources for when we're no longer
working together in that close proximity.
96
:And ultimately, it's really easy for us
to think that everything's resolved once
97
:you've decided what to do, but once you're
actually doing it, or not doing it, should
98
:we say, Things start to change and you
start to learn new things about yourself.
99
:And I'm going to make sure that
you're there, um, unpacking those
100
:learnings at each place and that
mirror to reflect that back.
101
:And ultimately that time period, right?
102
:For that longer transformation
allows you to wobble with safety.
103
:It allows you to wobble with safety.
104
:The other thing is it's really ensuring
that there's a next time, right?
105
:There is nothing worse than
hitting a breakthrough.
106
:Okay.
107
:At minute 59 of 60.
108
:Right?
109
:And having no space to get feedback,
further support, or recommendations,
110
:or just anything else, right?
111
:With the solo sessions, if Breakthrough
comes at minute 59 of 60, you
112
:have to book another to unpack
what just came up for you, right?
113
:Sounds harsh, But that's the
realities of the boundaries of
114
:the 60 minute session, right?
115
:Whereas with private coaching,
you simply drop me an email
116
:or a message with it, right?
117
:Or you signpost it for the next
session we have in the calendar because
118
:we will have one in the calendar.
119
:Now, I know some of you are
thinking, but Jazz can't I just
120
:book several solo sessions?
121
:Oh, a thousand percent.
122
:Of course you can.
123
:Of course you can.
124
:Um, but if you book several
solo sessions, you've got to
125
:wait until that solo session.
126
:There is no messaging in between, right?
127
:And of course you can do that
digestion by yourself, but there
128
:is something very comforting at
knowing there is a next time.
129
:Nothing is running away.
130
:No goal is running away.
131
:Like one of my favorite things to be able
to say on a session where I can see a
132
:client is torn, right, in the direction
that we go in our time together is being
133
:able to say, whichever one you don't
choose, we can pick up next session.
134
:Whichever one we don't choose,
I can send you some resources.
135
:Right.
136
:That is one of my favorite things to say.
137
:And then the last thing, right?
138
:The last thing is, and I would
say that this is the least,
139
:although I've made it juicy.
140
:It's for the additional extras, right?
141
:Private coaching should feel nourishing
and in a lot of ways, luxurious.
142
:These are my VIPs.
143
:Anything exciting that's happening.
144
:I bring my clients in.
145
:I create and curate experiences
for my private coaching clients.
146
:So having access to things like the
client portal, support between sessions,
147
:exclusive events, workshops, experiences
like the photo shoot that we have
148
:coming up, that all included, right?
149
:As much as they're
extras, they're bonuses.
150
:You pay your one investment
and you get all the goodies.
151
:And ultimately I have found.
152
:You know that so many clients spend time
in the sessions really focus on what is
153
:top of mind for them But they're able to
go and play in the portal and you know
154
:use that time to start a side hustle
understand imposter syndrome all that
155
:good fun stuff And ultimately in that way
you can move towards parallel ambitions
156
:In a way that is a hundred percent
led by you through, you know, client
157
:portal being one of the goodies, right?
158
:Um solo sessions don't get in person
sessions they don't get to make
159
:use of a really Gorgeous co working
space, you know on the days where
160
:we have sessions things like that.
161
:So It really is for that VIP
experience for that journey.
162
:If you want coaching to feel like an
experience and not just a service,
163
:um, that's another thing to consider
in terms of understanding if private
164
:coaching is the right choice for you.
165
:Um, but needless to say, right,
both choices can get you results.
166
:It's just about really asking yourself
with What I want, with what's top of mind
167
:for me, how specific can I be about this?
168
:Because the best way for you to
squeeze the most out of me on a
169
:solo session, come with your list.
170
:Right?
171
:I actually love it when people
come to me with stuff, and I
172
:will tell you this by the way,
173
:you won't be caught unawares, should I
say, if you have set the bar too high
174
:for what we can achieve in 60 minutes.
175
:As I will tell you before the session,
right, I will let you know, we can
176
:either do A and B or we can do C and D.
177
:We can't do A to D.
178
:Yeah?
179
:So, here's a podcast on D, here's
a blog on C, but either way, when
180
:we get on that call, I'm gonna
need you to choose two letters.
181
:Two of your bullet points
for us to go into, right?
182
:And, and again, one thing I want
to encourage folks who, you know,
183
:you're about to press the button
on the solo session, is give me
184
:as much information as possible.
185
:There is no such thing
as too much information.
186
:I have had clients book a solo session
and run out of space in the booking
187
:form and just send me an email.
188
:That's fine.
189
:That is absolutely fine.
190
:In fact, I love that because it
shows that you are trying to squeeze
191
:everything out of the session and
be super intentional with our time
192
:together and to give me space.
193
:So, you know, with every client
session I have, I always put in
194
:a certain amount of prep and also
kind of reflection at the end.
195
:So also don't feel that it's an
imposition to send me an email.
196
:Don't expect me to have looked
at a ton of stuff in that email.
197
:So that's one thing I will say.
198
:Like unless of course we are working
on your CV per se in that session
199
:and stuff like that, you know,
we're talking for a solo session.
200
:My prep for that session
is about 20 minutes max.
201
:So just think of that when you're
sending me over the stuff, cause we
202
:may get on the corner and we need to
get upset that I didn't look at all
203
:16 versions of your covering letter.
204
:Like we're going to dive in and
just be super laser focused.
205
:Um, And you know, in the same way
with private coaching, when my private
206
:coaching clients book a session, they
have a space to discuss what they
207
:want to focus on, you come ready, come
ready to squeeze everything out of me.
208
:It's exciting when people are like, I have
so many things that I want to dive into.
209
:I don't know where to start.
210
:And again, as I said before, with private
coaching, favorite things for me to say
211
:is whatever you don't choose, no pressure.
212
:I can share a resource so we can
pick it up in the next session.
213
:So, short and snappy one for today,
but again, a key, key, key question,
214
:especially where you have some choices
to make, where you're at that space,
215
:where you know, okay, I want to
work with Jaz in some shape or form.
216
:What does that look like?
217
:You know, should I go for this one?
218
:Should I go for that one?
219
:One thing that I will say at the
time of recording this, so we're in
220
:December 2024, um, private coaching.
221
:If you want to get in.
222
:For private coaching, my first and
last enrollment for:
223
:on the 12th of January, right?
224
:So if you want that three month
experience, I want to make sure
225
:that you've got enough time
to have all of those sessions.
226
:So please go ahead.
227
:Don't delay in booking
that consultation call.
228
:Um, that being said, solo sessions
are available right the way
229
:through to the 2nd of March.
230
:So if now's not a good time.
231
:Christmas is hard on the
pockets, on the coins.
232
:Um, I'm not running away.
233
:You just have to, um, you'll
have to work with me in a
234
:slightly different format, right?
235
:As I explained, the
solo sessions are there.
236
:So please do, I don't want anybody to
feel any pressure either way with both
237
:of them when I am back from mat leave.
238
:We're jumping into that 2026 waitlist.
239
:So please, please,
please sign up for that.
240
:If it's a future thing, that's all good.
241
:Because I want to make sure that
before even social media knows
242
:I'm back, you get that email to
say, Hey, I have got you down.
243
:Do you want to hop on a call?
244
:Is this still a later thing?
245
:Is this a now thing?
246
:Because I will save a space for you today.
247
:Okay?
248
:So, short one for today.
249
:But Hopefully a helpful one and as ever,
if you have more questions, reach out,
250
:I'm a real somebody, drop me an email,
DM me with your further questions or
251
:anything that I've mentioned today
that you want to know more about.
252
:Of course, the easiest way for you to find
out more about private coaching is to hop
253
:on that No Obligation Private Coaching.
254
:Consultation call where I go through
what it will look like for you.
255
:I'll even highlight some of the
key parts of the experience that
256
:will be really, really potent and
impactful to your specific goal.
257
:Um, I've been on sessions and
shown people the portal, right?
258
:There's listen, you, you, you asked
me all the questions that you need in
259
:order to make the best decision for you.
260
:So, um, want to encourage you to take
that step if that's top of mind for you,
261
:but also encourage you to chill out.
262
:Relax and know that I'm gonna be back.
263
:I'm not going anywhere.
264
:I, I am almost seven years in the game
and not going anywhere anytime soon.
265
:So I'll speak to you next time.
