It is appalling that after all these years, racism is still rampant in our society. Some are blissfully blind that it still exists and those who are aware but don’t know what to do just choose to remain silent.
Can we even put a stop to something that’s been happening for the past 400 years? As hard as it may seem, there is always something that we can do!
In this episode, I am joined by 3 women CFPs — Angela Moore, Chloé Moore, and Lauryn Williams, who all worked hard to get to where they are and have successfully built their own financial firms despite the struggles they had to go through.
We talk about their experiences and perspective on what it’s like when you’re the only black or brown person in the room and a woman at that. They share also their thoughts on the #BLM movement, having a voice, allyship, and what it means to have a seat at the table.
