Hi, this is Bill Sikkens, host of User

2
00:00:02,041 --> 00:00:05,875
2.0 Saturdays here on The Answer
with this week's Tech Wednesday.
3
00:00:05,875 --> 00:00:07,416
Surveillance is all around us.
4
00:00:07,416 --> 00:00:11,500
We have heard on the news about flock
cameras in different cities and things
5
00:00:11,500 --> 00:00:16,708
like that, but one city features
472 license plate readers.
6
00:00:16,708 --> 00:00:18,166
This is just one example of things
7
00:00:18,166 --> 00:00:22,333
that are going on across the country
where cameras are appearing everywhere.
8
00:00:22,333 --> 00:00:24,166
It's getting to the point
that when you leave your house
9
00:00:24,166 --> 00:00:27,583
and go to work or the store or whatever,
you would drive through, that.
10
00:00:27,583 --> 00:00:31,666
It is possible in some cases
that the city would be able to show
11
00:00:31,708 --> 00:00:33,708
when you left,
when you got back, where you went,
12
00:00:33,708 --> 00:00:36,125
when intersections, you went through
all of that different kind of thing.
13
00:00:36,125 --> 00:00:39,083
And this data that's being generated,
where is it being stored,
14
00:00:39,083 --> 00:00:41,958
who has access to it,
and is this even something
15
00:00:41,958 --> 00:00:43,958
that we're comfortable
with having that happen?
16
00:00:43,958 --> 00:00:47,958
Join me this weekend on User Friendly 2.0
here on The Answer on Saturday
17
00:00:47,958 --> 00:00:51,416
as we dive into surveillance
cameras, Surveillance nation
18
00:00:51,416 --> 00:00:55,250
and what is actually happening and what,
if anything, you can do about it
19
00:00:55,250 --> 00:00:59,166
to keep some of your privacy
here on The Answer or at userfriendly.show
