To paraphrase Martin Luther King Jr., to love our neighbors certainly means meeting the physical needs of the individual beaten along the road, but it also requires us—when people are continuously beaten on the same road—to address the systemic problem. Liz will provide a biblical foundation for advocacy on public policy issues and offer practical suggestions on ways that individuals can speak up for those who are vulnerable both locally and globally.
