You may not know exactly when it happened, but the impartation will be very real. If you have been introduced to the possibility of being born from above, it isdefinitely something to seek the Lord about.

Show Notes:

  • When a new believer receives a salvation experience, he may also be introduced to the possibility of being born again.

  • This time of being born will not be anything like a person's first birth. It will be entirely new.

  • Being born from above is not something a person works at; it is an endowment from your Father in heaven.

  • This experience is unique for each individual and it opens up a whole new life of provisions from the Lord, especially a deeper relationship with Him.

  • The changes that happen to someone who is born again could include receiving His divine nature, loving yourself as the new creation He is making you, and flowing in deeper relationships with other believers.

  • You may now be given a sense of who He created you to be, and your eyes are opened to see His Kingdom.

Quotations:

  • Being born again is something new and totally different. What is being established is a direct impartation of His nature.

  • One of the first things that happens is you fall in love with yourself.

  • Being born again has to be an experience, but it will be different for every individual.

  • One of the things it does is bring a instantaneous connection with each other in the spirit.

  • We're being His workmanship; He's creating us into what He wants us to be in order to work the works of God.

  • It's the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is about us giving our will to the will of God.

  • The outcome of that experience of being born again is to see the Kingdom of God.

References:

Mark 12:30-31

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.

I Corinthians 2:9

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for these who love Him.”

I Corinthians 15:51-52

“Behold, I tell you a mystery, we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump...”

Romans 8:28

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Takeaway:

Being born from above is an amazing promise. It comes under that Scripture of “eye has not seen and ear has not heard.” Since this is an experience that cannot be worked out by man, but is created by God, we find that the part that a believer contributes is his will. The first step is loving the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, your mind and your strength. We can change, but we must be born again into this life of Spirit.

Transcripts

If you're born again, our flesh is not recycled. It's a whole new input to you when you're born from above. What is being created within us is not a recycled flesh. No. It's something that's totally new, and totally different. And what is being established in you is a direct impartation of His nature. And it's an exciting thing to implement in your life.

One of the first things that happens to you is that you fall in love with yourself. That's really important because the great commandment, Thou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, so on and so forth. Love your neighbor as yourself. If you walk out that simple thing, that's a key to being born born again, born from above.

What do you love? I love this thing that's growing, thing that's unfolding, not only in me, but I love it in you. That's what makes that great commandment worship.

I think this thing of being born again, you have to experience it, but it's going to be different for every individual. And I don't think you can teach anybody about this is the way it's going to be, or this is the way you're going to feel.

Eye hasn't seen, ear hasn't heard. We don't get it because it is being born again. And you've never been born again. We're each going to be born again.

It's an experience. And all of a sudden, you're there and you go, wow, how'd I get here? I don't remember having an individual moment when things took place.

I just know I'm there. And how did that happen? Well, again, the scripture says, you'll be changed in the twinkling of an eye, just like that. And I think the experience of this relationship is amazing. All of a sudden, wow, I just know God's with me. I know He's in me. I know that He's speaking to me on a continual basis.

I know I'm hearing His words. How did all that happen? I don't know. I just know it did. That's the experience we're talking about, and it's an amazing experience. One of the things it does is like this instantaneous connection with each other in the spirit that we've never had before. Now I can't explain that. I can't teach you into that because It is an experience.

Everyone has a unique gift and everyone is of a unique creation. The word experience blankets many different manifestations. The key to the experience is out of that experience is going to come a common growth. That's where many times you see the fruit of the experience.

You could sit down and compare experiences. But it's going to be the same fruit that comes out of the experience. That's what I was, why I was mentioning the great commandment. The great commandment, and our love for one another is the fruit of the experience. Yes, it's going to be different for everybody.

You might say that even the fruit will be different because we have different needs or different ministries, but there's still going to be fruit from that experience.

It's like somebody pushing you towards the edge of a cliff real slowly, and you keep being pushed, and pushed, and pushed.

You're getting closer to that cliff all the time, and all of a sudden, you get pushed over the cliff. How'd you get there?

Are there anybody that takes credit? Is there anyone that's hierarchy enough to say, Oh, he's the one that spoke it, so I'm able to get into it. No, this is the Lord. And He's the only one who will be glorified in it. I don't think we've ever had a day or a time or a period where the scriptures that say, eye hasn't seen, ear hasn't heard, neither has it entered the heart, the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. Where'd we get that love? He gave it to us. He gave us His love to love each other, to love those out there that are unlovely.

He gave us His love. But out of that love, we come to a place where the Holy Spirit begins to minister, and drop into our beings things that we never dreamed that we'd be a part of. There is a flow, God's Word being spoken out of a spiritual atmosphere that just absolutely hits the mark. We're being changed moment by moment by moment.

We've been changed for His purpose . He's doing this, we're not. We're being His workmanship. He's creating us into what He wants us to be in order to work the works of God. So this whole level of being born again I think is interesting because; when you stop and think, just a moment, how did you get here?

How did you arrive at this place of spirit? Did you do it? I felt like you can claim any credit for getting here. I think I have to go back though, and insert something that's really important. It is about the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is about us giving our will to the will of God. If we don't do that, He can't move us.

He can't give us what He wants to give us in order to make us into what He wants us to be. God never took away our will. He gave us a free will to choose. When we choose, He can take us to the edge of that, that mountain and say, okay, jump and we jump.

I thought about the scripture as you're talking; "He works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure." And so I was thinking about a person that has not been saved They go through their life, and they may have heard of Christ They may have heard of salvation, but they just you know, they're not it's not for me or whatever. The provisions there, but until they open up to it, they don't get it. I believe God's working in them to change their will, right?

He can't force them, but that doesn't mean He's not going to work in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. At the end of the day, none of us will say, I had this will for God. He worked in you that will. He worked in you that hunger. And then yeah you had it because He worked it into you. And I think that's the same thing with you know, being born again. He works in us, if we come to the place where I believe.

The outcome of that experience of being born from above or born again is God opens up your vision to see the kingdom of God.
