In this episode, Director of Sales and Operations for Designers Resource Collection (DRC) Lauren Pryor-DeJulio joins me to talk about the many ways the DRC supports interior designers. The DRC is a great example of the importance of building connections within the design community, and it shows just how much we can support each other in creating beautiful, meaningful spaces for our clients. Lauren also shares with us her journey with interior design and why she loves working for the DRC.
Guest Bio
Lauren Pryor-DeJulio is the Director of Sales and Operations for Designers Resource Collection (DRC San Diego). She has been part of the San Diego design community since 2011 when she began her adventures dabbling in the world of Interior Design at West Elm as the Lead of the In-Home Design Team. Realizing her strengths and ability to project-manage, she quickly furthered her career, becoming the Studio Manager for a local boutique design firm. Lauren joined DRC in 2015, when she was brought on to assist in opening DRC’s second location in San Diego.
In addition to handling the day-to-day operations and management of the 10-person San Diego team, she also works one-on-one with clients, specializing in luxury “top to bottom” projects including residential, commercial and hospitality. She has a deep passion for design and is known for her keen ability to source items from any of DRC’s 250+ vendors. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious and evident when working with her team and clients in the greater San Diego community.
