Shlomo Hamelech in משלי says אשת חיל עטרת בעלה on a spiritual level אשת חיל a reference to הלכות of תורה שבעל פה is the crown of בעלה a reference to תורה שבכתב.
The Talmud quotes the Mishna in Avot that says ודאשתמש בתגא חלף & explains those that use one that learns Jewish Law which are considered the Crown of Torah.
The תנא דבי אליהו says whoever studies Jewish Law is guaranteed a place in the world to come.
The question is why is Jewish Law called Crowns, why this great reward as a place in the world to come that you won’t receive by studying other areas in Torah.
Also in the Talmud that one that the learns a chapter of Mishna a day fulfills their obligation why again specifically Mishna.
The Arizal says that every person needs to fulfill all 613 commandments in thought speech & action to create garments for the soul other wise the soul will be reincarnated many times till the soul receives all its garments. Besides Mitzvot that apply to a king & the king does it on every ones behalf.
The Zohar explains the reason for these garments: since the Nefesh, Ruach & Neshama are creations so they can’t receive the infinite light, even with all tzimzumim it can’t handle anything from the infinite light, the only way they can receive is when the garment is created from the infinite light so this garment is 1) “created” from the infinite light 2) created from the “infinite light” this unique blend is Mitzvot that can create a garment for the soul as example looking at the sun thru sunglasses & like the cloud acted as a garment for Moshe Rabeinu to receive the great light at mount Sinai as explained in the Zohar.
There is a very special light which is reserved for righteous people in the future which is called נעם ה׳ וצחצחות which is a deep yearning for להתענג על ה׳ as well the 400 worlds of כיסופין as referenced in the Torah as ארבע מאות שקל כסף so this garment receives its life force from a external part of these high levels. As for example we have deep תענוג for certain things for example coming up with a new brainstorming idea so the external part of this huge pleasure will be the רצון the will which will be a will that’s enjoyable as it’s source is in Tanug.
The same applies to the infinite light that רצון is the external part of Tanug which is נועם ה׳ וצחצחות ועלמין דכסופין. Even though by hashem it’s all one tanug & Ratzon etc. however for us to comprehend we break it down to different levels. As we see when we comprehend a great idea it makes us really happy as happiness is higher than intellect. Hence the Zohar says that בינה is called עוה״ב as it’s the revelation of חכמה עם תענוג as Torah comes from חכמה as well as Torah & Hashem are one.
The מקובלים call רצון - כתר עליון which have 620 strands of light. For example when you have huge beams from floor to ceiling. So כתר is extremely high higher than חכמה it’s like a Crown over חכמה this high level resides in the 613 commandments as well as the 7 rabbinic commandments which are all Action oriented Mitzvot the verbal Mitzvot are considered action even the thought Mitzvot were given to us physical human beings. A soul with out a body has no commandments.
So the Mitzvot are beams that go from the Ratzon Haelyon down to this physical world & create garments for the souls performing the Mitzvot as well as the soul in this world bonding with the infinite G-D first to רצון than than to נועם ה׳ וצחצחות higher than כתר. The 7 rabbinic Mitzvot are part of the 613 Mitzvot to create the 613 garments for every part of of our body.
The Alter Rebbe quotes the Zohar that states clearly that when we do Mitzvot draws down the light from כתר עליון which is נעם ה׳. Even though the Zohar says that Mitzvot draw from גן עדן התחתון & Kavana & feeling draw from גן עדן העליון nevertheless the kavana & feeling are associated to a physical mitzvah of learning & learning is considered action דעקימת שפתיו הוי מעשה & you have to say the words to fulfill your obligation as well as by prayer. Even this that kavana & feeling reach גן עדן העליון is because that is the רצון העליון which is more revealed in kavana & feeling.
This רצון העליון that is in the 613 commandments is מופלא ומכוסה טמיר ונעלם & it is only revealed in תורה שבל פה for example the mitzvah of Teffilin in the Torah it says וקשרתם וגו לטוטפות וגו there is no details what to tie, where between your eyes where on your hand in תורה שבעל פה you have all the details one box on the hand 4 compartments on the head 4 sections from the Torah it’s made from leather black 4 corners square where exactly to place on hand & head.
