Like many folks born and raised in Durango, Ellen Campbell started riding bikes at a young age and never looked back. She attended Fort Lewis College and was part of the college’s famous cycling program. Ellen describes how the coaches and mentors that she has had in her cycling career have helped her progress, and how she is now giving back to the sport as a mentor coach for the local DEVO mountain bike program. Before entering the Lifetime Grand Prix last year Ellen had never ridden over 100 miles. Now in her second year of the series, Ellen tells us the lessons that she is carrying with her into this year that she learned from her rookie season.
