This is a recording of a hypnosis session called Fresh Starts.
ng, some fresh starts for for:Every month I do a free event, I call it Nourish and Flourish, it is on a Friday at noon.
And if you register in advance, you can come and at that event, I do a group hypnosis on a timely topic.
So January is usually about sort of new beginnings and fresh starts.
February sometimes about love, and then it changes month by month.
But if you haven't tried coming to one of my nourish and flourish events, I highly encourage you to do so.

So I hope you enjoy this recording.
in a positive fresh start for:So my best wishes to our community and I'll get started.
and take a nice long deep breath.
Slow down your body and mind.
You are relaxing your body and mind in order to tap deeper into your subconscious.
The subconscious is the seat of your memories, ideas, and patterns.
By getting in deeper touch with your subconscious, you can change patterns and ideas and thinking in your mind.
Continue breathing deeply.
If any thoughts or itches or ideas or noises I want you to use this technique to release them and come back to the sound of my voice.
a bright blue sky and in that sky there is a gray and white cloud.
Take that distraction, whatever it may have been, and put it on top of that cloud.
And then slowly allow that cloud to move away from you towards the horizon, releasing the distraction as it moves away.
When the cloud reaches the horizon, release the distraction and come gently around back to listening to the sound of my voice.
Imagine there is a light shining on the top of your head.
This light carries with it a healing energy.
feels loving.
As this light shines on the top of your head, it relaxes your scalp and forehead and any tension that had been there previously is now released.
The energy from the light moves down your face, relaxing your eyes and eyelids so that you are closing your eyes now if they weren't already closed.
The relaxation from the light moves past your eyes and into your cheeks, relaxing your cheeks, the area between your nose and mouth, relaxing your lips, your mouth, your jaw so that you can feel this relaxing energy coming in through the top of your head, relaxing your entire head and face.
The relaxing energy moves past your face and into your neck, relaxing the front and back of your neck.
and from there it moves into your shoulders relaxing and releasing your shoulders energy coming in from the top of your head moves through your body past your shoulders and into your arms relaxing your upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist all the way down to your fingers making you feel so very relaxed.
It moves from your shoulders into your chest relaxing the area around your heart and lungs.
You find that you are breathing even deeper as the relaxation in your chest expands your lungs.
Your heart energy is now combined with this energy you are receiving so that this loving energy and your energy are both circulating throughout your body, bringing you more relaxation.
The relaxation passes from your chest into your middle, relaxing your stomach and all of the organs of your central body.
It moves past your middle into your buttocks and thighs and you feel those large muscles relax, letting go of any and all tension.
The relaxation moves from your upper legs past your knees into your calves and feet all the way down to your toes.
You now feel so very relaxed, completely relaxed, from the top of your head through your body to the tips of your toes.
Imagine now you are at the top of a staircase.
This staircase has 20 stairs.
As I count down from 20, you will watch yourself descending this staircase going deeper and deeper into your subconscious as I count down.

You continue descending, going deeper and deeper.

two one You're now at the bottom of the stairs feeling so very very relaxed You're in a lovely state of hypnosis Imagine yourself now in a beautiful sanctuary You get to decide where this is Whether it's inside or outdoors, if it's fancy or simple, if it's day or night, it's all up to you and choosing what is best for you.
Imagining yourself in this beautiful place.
Make it all yours.
Choose any furnishings you want.
Set the scene.
decide what kind of weather suits you today.
Choose if there are any beautiful scents like flowers or waterfalls.
Choose if there are any beautiful sounds like waves or birdsong.
This is your place of peace and prosperity.
are relaxed and open to learning and editing your thoughts.
Many times over the course of our lives we have opportunities to make a fresh start.
like the turning of a new year, the start of a new job, a relocation, or the arrival of another child or grandchild.
This session today will help you to focus on the emotions surrounding this new beginning, a symbol associated with new beginnings, and affirmations for your fresh start.
As the new year begins, it is an excellent time to think about fresh starts and new beginnings.
There is something magical in a fresh start, time to shed old things, old habits and old thoughts.
It is a wonderful time to replace these old ways of thinking and doing with new ones that serve you better now.
Many times in your life you have had fresh starts.
start of a new school, a new commute, a new friendship, or even a new house.
Take a deep breath now and recall a time in the past when you made a fresh start.
A time when a fresh start felt good and resulted in positive changes in your life.
Take your time.
Finally open your mind to recall this previous positive fresh start.
As you recall this past fresh start, notice what it is associated with.
What was going on in your life at that time?
Who were the important people to you?
Where were you physically?
Allow your mind to open and recall what that time was like.
When you are ready, allow yourself to recall the emotions associated with this past fresh start.
Were you hopeful?
Excited?
Curious?
Nervous.
Any emotion is fine.
This is a positive fresh start from your past, so even if you were a little nervous about it, you know it worked out well and that's what to remember.
There have been many positive fresh starts in your past, and now it is time for another.
Welcome this fresh start.
Fresh starts and new beginnings often come with big emotions.
Anxiety.
Joy.
Fear.
Anticipation.
Hope.
Allow whatever feeling you have about this new start to come into your heart.
As you think about this fresh start, explore what the feeling is like this time around.
Are you optimistic?
Expectant?
A little bit anxious?
Confident?
Whatever feeling you have, just allow that feeling to be.
It might be a good feeling, or it might be one you're not so sure about.
Many people are glad for a fresh start, and if that's how you feel now, super.
Sometimes a fresh start means letting go of something.
Sometimes the fresh start can wake up feelings of loss or anxiety.
And that's okay.
Change is required for growth.
And while we sometimes dislike change, it is an essential part of our Earth experience.
If your feeling about this fresh start is on the whole, not so sure, see if you can transform that feeling just a little bit by infusing it with hope and reminding yourself that fresh starts are part of life.
If you already have a good feeling about the fresh start, hold on to that feeling in your heart and revel in that great positive feeling.
We have many beautiful symbols for new beginnings in our culture.
Bring one to mind.
If you don't know what to imagine, you might try fireworks or a dove or a star.
See this symbol in your mind's eye and give thanks for your new beginning.
I am thankful to my past self for bringing me to where I am today.
I give thanks for all I have and all that is to come.
I trust in my joy.
I safely release my past and welcome my way forward.
My new beginning allows me to leave things behind and bring new things into my life.
My time, talent and treasure will assure me that this new beginning brings joy.
I am grateful for all I have and all that is to come.
