We tend to put more value in our work for God than the work of God himself, which leads to prayerless and powerless lives. The greatest work we can do is the work of prayer. It is what we do on the mountaintop in prayer, not what we do on the battlefield with our hands that leads to victory in our lives. We prevail by prevailing in prayer, because the battle and the victory belongs to the Lord.
