Crowds gathered not only to see Jesus, but also to see Lazarus himself because his very existence had become a testimony of God’s power. That testimony was so influential that religious leaders wanted to silence it completely by killing Lazarus as well. The reason was simple—his story was leading people to believe in Jesus. This highlights the spiritual importance of testimony, because when God moves in someone’s life and they share it openly, it strengthens believers, encourages those who are struggling, and often draws unbelievers toward faith. Testimonies are not merely personal experiences; they become instruments God uses to reveal His goodness and power to others.
