Lakers came out hot and jumped out to an early lead, but it was Cass City who took control halfway through the second quarter and didn't look back, winning 52-44. Carter Patrick led the Red Hawks and all scorers with a 31-point performance. Cohen Sherman finished with nine points. Lakers were led in tandem by Layton Krohn and Caden Carriveau each with 12 points.

Cass City now improves to 12-0 on the season and 6-0 in the GTW, Lakers falls to 5-6, with just one win in their last six games.
