Today I’ve got 2 Instagram feed planning options for you: Feed Preview & The Preview App.

In my last episode, #70 Crafting Your Unique Content Strategy, Isabella talked about Feed Preview, and she mentioned that she uses this simple app to preview what her images will look like in her feed and she does this without having to sign into her Instagram account. I’ve got more details on this app for you today.

I also talk about another planning option for you if you need a bit more planning features, like auto posting, analytics, hashtags (and more!). Tune in to get your Instagram planning on!

[:

Welcome back to Tip Tuesday, where I give you the skinny on an app or tool that could be useful for your personal productivity. Now, today I've got two Instagram Feed options for you. One is Feed Preview and the other is the Preview app. Now they are both for Instagram, so it can get kind of confusing. If you're looking for one, you might stumble on the other, and that's exactly what happened to me. Now, if you heard in my last episode, number 70, crafting your unique content strategy.

[:

Isabella spoke about what she uses, which was Feed Preview. She mentioned this app that she uses to kind of check out her feed and preview it on Instagram before posting. So it kind of helps you check out your aesthetics, make sure what you're posting is where you want it to be, that kind of thing. Now, from the website for Feed Preview, it says, Get a stunning Instagram feed by previewing how it would look in advance. Play with your feed. It's free and requires no login. So this is what I thought was really cool about Feed Preview.

[:

I had never heard of it before, but you don't have to log in or share your password, so it's really cool. If that's something that you are looking for, you just want to see how your new images are going to look in your feed without posting them to Instagram first or logging into one of the other feed managers, which can be a little more time consuming and then you have to log in and those kinds of things. So this one is really good. If you just want to organize the aesthetic of your feed, you can use their filters, upload photos, move them around, delete them and see exactly how they're going to look in your feed.

[:

Now, this one can be used as kind of a planner because you can upload the photos and they're saved locally to the app on your phone. It's free and you can use it with Apple and Google Play. So check that one out. I'll drop that link down below. It's pretty simple. You don't have to log in. You just put in your Instagram handle and it will pull up the feed and you can play around with the images just like that. So that one's really super simple.

[:

The next one I want to talk about is called the Preview app for Instagram. Now, from their website. It says the most used Instagram planner officially approved by Instagram. Safe to use easily, plan your posts reels, IG TVs Instagram stories and find the best hashtags, caption, ideas, presets analytics and more. So if you are looking for a more robust and actual Instagram planner, this one would be a better option for you the last one is just for if you are looking to see how certain images will look in your feed before you post them, this one is going to give you a lot more as far as analytics planning, posting uploading for you that sort of thing.

[:

So I'm going to read through a few of their features. They've got quite a bit and then I'm going to tell you the pricing on this one. Now with preview, you can plan an unlimited number of posts for free. You can upload as many photos and carousels rearrange them. Preview your feed before you post it on Instagram. So similar to the last one. Now this one allows you to auto post. You can set a date and time to actually post your images and your captions on Instagram, so it will automatically post it for you.

[:

If that is something you're looking for, this one will be a really good option. Now what I use personally is an app called Plan P-L-A-N-N I'll drop that in the show notes as well, but it's very similar to this and you can take a look at any three of these and see which one is going to suit your needs. You can also plan your reels and your IGTVs in this one and test the different thumbnails to see how they look as well as the cover images and Instagram stories.

[:

You can edit the photos. They do have a photo transformation and filter options so you can test their filters as well. They also have caption ideas, so if you're ever stuck on what to post, they do give you some caption ideas. They have a ton of them you can even cover for the entire year. Plan has this as well as one of their features, so it gives you ideas for templates, prompts, call to actions for personal and business uses, which I think is super cool, especially for those times that you get stuck and you're just wanting to get like a prompt of what to post.

[:

Also, you can monitor your analytics with this one. You can see the top post the followers best time to post where the clicks are going on your website. Depending on which apps you're using, you will get different analytics versus the native Instagram app so you can want to check those out as well. Now this one also gives you a repost option. You can repost Instagram, photos, videos, carousels, reels. Igtvs without the watermark. I don't believe I've seen that one anywhere else. So that repost option is something new that I have not seen.

[:

Now what is the pricing of this one? The first one I said was completely free to preview your feed. This one has three options. It's got a free option and with the free option you got one user, one device unlimited posts the Reals Planner two filter packs basic analytics. You can even reply to comments and they have different fonts. The next option is a pro option, so you get all of those plus unlimited posts. Unlimited filter packs, all of the analytics. You even get to use the tested hashtags where they've researched hashtags and can show you what's performing the best you get.

[:

Hashtag analytics, the repost option, all of the fonts, and that is only $6.67 a month that is billed annually. They do have an option where you can choose a monthly option which I assume will be slightly higher and then their final option is a premium plan, which you get everything below, plus a few other options like competitor analysis. You get all of the caption ideas, unlimited devices. You get team features for this as well, plus a few more features. Now that one is $12.50 a month.

[:

That also is billed on the yearly plan. If you are listening to this close to Black Friday, they do still have a Black Friday deal. If you use the promo code FUN, then you will get an additional 30% off the annual plan. Now the annual plan already gives you 20% off the monthly plan. Essentially, the Black Friday deal gives you 50% off for the entire year so you can test out that code, see if it still works at the time that you are trying to do that.

[:

Again, the code is fun. We'll drop that link down in the show notes as well. A lot of options in the preview app for Instagram. So if you are looking for something a little more robust again, go with that one or the app that I personally use, which is plan. I will drop the link for that one as well. If you are using a Feed preview app for your Instagram, let me know which one you're using because there are actually so many out there. I didn't want to fill up this tip to you today with all of them I know some people use later.

[:

There are some other ones out there, so let me know what you're using. Hit me up on Instagram. I'm at Miranda Merten and that is my tip for today. I will see you next time.
