I hope that you came ready to hear the word of God.

God is speaking on today.

God is speaking every day.

The question is, are we listening?

Amen.

You know, there are many times that we say, lord, do you hear me, Lord?

Lord, why aren't you answering me?

We're always putting the.

The.

The onus on the Lord as to why we're not getting the message.

But could it be that God is speaking and you just not hearing?

Oh, boy.

And that's not even the sermon for today.

But that could be the issue, that God is speaking, but you refuse to listen, and.

And sometimes, you know, God will speak a word and you not be in the position to hear what he has to say to you.

You're not in the position to get the answer that you've been praying for, because God didn't tell you how he was going to answer the prayer, how he was going to speak to you.

He simply.

We.

We simply know that he's going to speak.

You need to ask yourself, am I in position to hear what God is saying to me on today?

Amen.

Lord, you know what everybody's going through at the moment.

This might be the word that somebody needs at this very moment to stop from giving up.

This might be the word that someone needs at this very moment to keep pushing.

Father, endow me with your presence, with your power.

I believe that God's word is true.

It is the final authority in my life.

You know, when, when Moses asked in, in the Old Testament, Lord, who should I say sent me, he just told him to tell him I am situ.

I love the way he says that because it says that he's not confined to just a particular place in your life or particular area in your life.

You know, many times we try to just put God in different areas of our lives.

We, we depend on him to pay the bills, but we don't.

We don't depend on him to be a healer.

We depend on him to be a healer, but we don't depend on him to be a comforter.

We depend on him to be a, a comforter, but we don't depend on him to be a way maker.

And what God is saying on today is, I am all of those things.

I can be everything that you need for me to be because I'm just that big.

I'm just that big.

I'm just that powerful.

I am everything that you need.

When we look at Genesis chapter one, verse one, it.

He.

He pretty much establishes how great he is.

It says, in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

Oh God.

That's the kind of God we serve.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

He, He.

He didn't define himself as a, as just a bill payer.

He said, I created the heavens and the earth.

Everything that you see, the beast in the field, the birds in the air, the fish in the sea, I created it all.

The trees, the air you breathe, I'm responsible for it all.

I am literally the founder of life as you know it.

Hallelujah to God.

I.

I've created all of that.

All of it is because of me.

I created you by just molding you into dirt.

And, and then I breathe into you the breath of life.

I gave you my DNA.

I made you.

I created you.

And I didn't just create you.

Oh.

And it's getting into what I want to get into.

But he says, I didn't create you just to create you, but I created you in my image.

You were created in God's image.

Can I just stop right there for a minute and tell somebody that you're more than what the enemy has tried to make you think you are?

Let me say that one more time.

You are more than what the enemy has tried to make.

Make you think you are.

You are more than, than your.

Your haters have said that you are.

You are more than what the devil said that you are.

You are more than your situation.

You are more than your environment.

You are more than anything that you are dealing with in your life.

You're bigger.

You're more than your problem.

You're you.

You're more.

There's.

There's so much in you.

Greater is he, you than he that is in the world.

You.

You are more than what you know.

It's just we got to get to know who we are.

I am God.

And guess what?

You are created in my image.

Let me expound a little bit more on who.

Who exactly God is or, or, or, or how we look at him.

How we should look at him.

Isaiah 44 and 6 says, Thus says the Lord, the King and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts.

I am the first, I am the last.

Besides me, there is no God.

Hallelujah besides him, there is no God.

There is.

There is no other God besides him.

The Buddha is not him.

He's not on his level.

Allah is not on God's level.

There is no other God.

Hallelujah to God.

Jeremiah 32 and 27 says, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh.

Is there anything too hard for me?

What in the world could you bring into my presence that you could.

That you could bring to me that would be too hard for me to do, too hard for me to fix?

As a matter of fact, when we look at that scripture, it is a.

It is a rhetorical question because he knows that there's nothing too hard for him to do.

And so he wants you to understand that there is nothing too hard for him to do.

So he asked the record rhetorical question.

Is there anything too hard for me?

I want you to think about everything that you're going through, everything that has come up against you, and say, is there anything too hard for my God to do?

I am.

I am.

I am.

I am everything.

I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm.

I'm the.

As we like to say, I'm the.

I'm the big dog.

I'm the boss.

Everybody likes to talk about.

They're the boss of this and the boss of that.

No, God is the boss.

He's the boss of bosses.

And so if he is the boss of bosses, then what does that say about you?

I keep going back to this question because I want you to understand.

If he is.

If he is all that and you are made in his image, then you are who.

And this is where we have to.

We have to come to grips with how great we are.

We have to.

We have to acknowledge or come into revelation of who we are.

You, sir, you, ma'am, are great.

But guess what?

You cannot walk in your greatness until you know that you are great.

Oh, God.

You cannot walk in the power of God until you know that you are powerful.

Glory to God.

You got to know who you are.

Do you know who you are?

Do you recognize who you are?

And because many of us don't recognize who we are in Christ, first of all, some of us don't recognize who.

Who God is.

And then we don't recognize who we are in God.

And therefore the enemy has his way in our life.

Therefore, we never become what we were called to become.

And, and I got to.

I got to say this, that it's.

It's not just about being rich.

It's not just about having the fancy car, having the big house, you know, because there are many people that have the fancy car.

They have the.

The big house.

They have the baddest chick in the game.

They have the.

The.

The baddest man in the game, you know, and yet they're still miserable, yet they still walk in fear, yet they still don't have victory in their life.

Even though everything around them says that they're good.

They still don't acknowledge or recognize who they are in Christ.

They still don't recognize how great they are.

We have to start recognizing and walking in the greatness that we are, in the greatness, the authority that God has given us.

Otherwise, we will never really become.

You might have.

Might have materialistic things, but you will never really become who you were created to be.

You're powerful.

You're.

You're.

You're not God, but you're like God.

Let me say that again.

You are not God, but you are like God.

He breathed the breath of life and you.

He gave you his DNA.

He made you in his image.

You want to know how bad you are?

If you look at Genesis 2:19 and 20, it says, out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them.

And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.

So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field.

But for Adam, there was no.

There was not found a helper comparable to him.

Look at verse 20.

So Adam.

Verse Genesis, chapter 2, verse 20.

So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, to every beast of the field.

So here it is.

God has created the heavens and the earth.

He has created the beast of the field.

He's created the birds of the air.

He's created the fish in the sea.

He has created the ground that you walked on.

He has created man.

But he creates man in his image and has given man his DNA, his authority.

And he's given so much to man to be like him that he brings all the beasts of the field, all the birds of the air, to Adam, the first man.

He gives it to Adam.

He brings them to Adam and he says, now, Adam, you're like me.

You are like me.

You are in my image.

You have my DNA.

So therefore, I'ma trust you with this.

Whatever you call this thing, that's what it will be.

Good God all day, Adam.

Whatever you name it, that's what it'll be.

Not by what I name it, not what I call it, but what you call it.

Oh, God.

Somebody ought to recognize that there's power in your words.

Glory to God.

Because God made you that way.

You can call things to be not as though they were.

Oh, God, help me in here.

You have the power to.

To transform your.

Transform your life.

You have.

You have the power to create your world.

You don't have to settle for what people give you.

You don't settle for what life says it's going to give you.

You don't have to settle for what the enemy is trying to give you.

You don't have to settle for what the government is trying to say you should be.

You don't have to settle for what haters are saying that you should be.

What are you saying about your situation?

The power is in your tongue.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

It's in your tongue.

It's in your tongue.

It's in your tongue.

I got you to get to understand this.

It's in your tongue.

Whatever you want to be, it's in your tongue.

Death and life in the power of the tongue.

Proverbs 18 and 21.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

And those who love it will eat his fruit.

What are you saying about your situation?

Quit allowing people to say what you're going to be.

Quit allowing people to name what you shall be.

It's all up to you.

God says, I am God.

And so therefore you are.

You are.

You are.

Are you getting the title of this message?

Or are you starting to understand what I'm asking you?

I want you.

I'm, I'm.

I'm.

I'm making you think.

I'm making you notice who you are.

I'm, I'm.

I'm getting you to label yourself and recognize the power that's within you.

You're made in his image.

You're made in his image.

I am God.

And so you are.

Praise God.

You know, I remember there was a movie not too long ago.

Well, it's been a while now, but there was a movie called Overboard.

There was a movie called Overboard.

And in this movie it was about a woman who was very well off, had a husband.

They were, I guess you could call them very wealthy rich people.

And they were on this yacht, I think they remade the movie not too long ago, but they were on this yacht.

And so this handyman comes on board and does some work for these, for this wealthy couple.

And so while he's on board, the woman is treating him as a second rate, I guess you could say a second rate citizen or just second rate in general.

You know, he's not as rich as she was.

And so she feels like she has the right to say whatever she wants to say.

Okay, so later on in the movie, the woman who has been treating this man, this hard working man, we'll say nasty, she has an accident and she falls overboard.

And so what ends up happening is the woman who fell overboard has now had an accident to where she has lost her memory.

She does not remember who she was, she does not remember what happened.

She doesn't remember her wealth, she doesn't remember her status, anything.

And so throughout the movie, so what ends up happening is this same handyman that was on board to fix, to work on her yacht takes her as her, as his, as his wife.

And so she begins to work hard and do things that she wouldn't customarily do because she has forgotten who she was.

And so throughout the movie, of course, she learns to love him and love his kids because he's a single father and everything else.

And, and so that was the gist of the movie.

Here's the part that I want to highlight to you though.

This wealthy woman has forgotten who she was because she had an accident.

And so because she has the accident, she, she no longer can, how should I say, she can no longer access her, her authority, her, her riches, her resources because the ship is gone in the Movie.

The ship leaves.

They don't even know she's been.

She has fell overboard, but the ship is gone.

Her memory is gone.

Everything that said that she was rich is gone.

So my question is to some of you, what was the accident that happened to you that made you forget who you are?

What, what happened to you?

What, what trauma has happened to you that you have forgotten the man or woman of God that you are?

What happened to you that made you forget that you have authority, that, that you have a God that loves you?

What has happened to you?

And the answer is not the same for everybody because everybody has went through different things.

Everybody has had different traumas.

It might be something that happened to marriage, and it, it.

It forced you.

It made you forget who you are.

It made you forget who God was.

You might have been messed up from the beginning because you came.

You were born into a situation that was not ideal.

And so you, You.

You don't even know who God is.

You don't recognize the, the God factor in your life.

You, you could have had some trauma that happened at work or, you know, you lost a job or, or you had an accident.

And now you're, you're.

You're singing the Woe is me song.

And, and you're saying, I'll never be good.

And I.

I'll never get back to where I used to be.

And, and I.

Or I'll never make it to the dream that I had.

I'll never fulfill the goal that I had.

What has happened to you that you have forgotten who you are?

What has happened to you that you have forgotten who God is?

Some of us is trauma.

It's the trauma that we have, we have dealt with that has caused us to waver, that has caused us to give up.

Oh, God.

And please understand, coming from me, I understand.

I feel you that many times you can go through things that, that are.

That.

That are so hard, that are so hard that it will make you forget.

It will give you a case of amnesia, recognizing who you are.

Sometimes you can go through things for so long that you tire out and you burn out.

I'm thinking about how the.

The thriller in Manila went with George Foreman and, and Muhammad Ali.

Muhammad Ali had no reason winning that fight, that boxing fight, because George Foreman was stronger and everything else.

But at the end of the fight, what ended up happening is George Foreman punched himself out.

He had no more energy, and therefore he was ripe for.

For the knockout.

And, and Muhammad Ali knocked him out.

Some of us, we have been fighting for so long it seems like we haven't gotten any rest.

Oh God, we haven't gotten any rest at all.

And we are literally burnt out to nothing that we do seems to have an effect.

We have been burnt out.

We're tired.

Hallelujah.

And so where you used to be good, where you used to have faith, you have tired out.

Where you used to have a praise when you, when.

When you used to get before God, you have tired out.

But I want to encourage somebody right now.

Don't tire out.

Hallelujah.

Oh, don't give up.

Don't get.

If you got to drag yourself to God's presence, get in his presence.

The Bible says, they that wait upon the Lord, oh God shall renew their strength.

Hallelujah.

To they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

Hallelujah to God.

It didn't say you will wait and you will be pristine while you're waiting.

It didn't say that you will be strong while you're waiting.

But he says, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

Hallelujah.

To God.

Everybody ties out, but they that wait upon the Lord, glory to God, shall renew your strength.

You got to snap out of that situation.

You got to snap out of that funk that you're in because the enemy would love for you to stay in this.

In this funk that you're in, the enemy would love for you to just say, you know what?

I'm just done with it.

What will be, will be.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Snap out of it.

You need to tell yourself right now, snap out of it.

Snap out of it.

I'm reminded of a story in the Bible.

I don't have the exact verse right now, but it was about the, the man at the pool of Bethesda.

And he's sitting there, he's at the porches, and he's there for 38 years waiting for an angel to touch the, the.

The pool.

And whoever got in the pool first would be healed.

And so there he was, waiting 38 years.

38 years.

Waiting 38 years hoping.

And I imagine after.

After a few years, you know, he started to waver.

He was there 38 years.

He was there so long.

And here's, here's.

Here's how we know that he began to just sit there and say, this is my life.

Because when Jesus came up, he says, will you be made whole?

Do you want to be healed?

And so here he is.

He's saying, well, you know, when, when the angel comes, I have nobody to put me at the pool or to put me in the pool.

But that's not the question.

The question is, do you want to be healed?

Jesus knew something about this man that, that others could not recognize on the outside.

See, everybody talks about how they believe in God and, and that's what their mouths say and their stance say, I believe God.

I'm waiting on God.

I still believe that he's going to do exactly what he said he's going to do.

But in his heart, his heart said, I don't know.

His heart said, I give up again.

Why do we know?

Because Jesus said, will you be made whole?

And so I'm asking some of you today, will you be made whole?

Hallelujah.

Will you, will you allow God to play his part?

Better yet, will you allow God to work through you?

Will you still give God a praise?

Will you still believe that God can do it?

See, faith without works is dead.

Being alone.

Do you have the faith to believe?

Do you have the faith to stand?

Glory to God.

Hallelujah.

That's John, chapter 5, verse 5 through 15.

It talks about the man at the pool of Bethesda.

And so you know, he's, he's.

He's asked the man, do you want to be made well?

Do you want to be made well?

Hallelujah.

And after he got the answer, he said, pick up your bed and walk.

In other words, I gotta get the, I gotta get the excuses out the way so that you can become or you can receive what I have for you.

Glory to God.

But it would have not.

Now notice this, notice this.

We're talking about.

I am, you are.

Jesus is there, the power is there.

But it still took this man making up his mind that he wanted to be made whole.

Glory to God.

This, oh God.

You see, you have to do your part.

You have to do your part is what I'm getting at.

You have to do your part.

I am.

God is saying, I am.

Therefore you are what you are.

What do you know who you are?

Do you recognize who you are?

Do you know your rights because of who you are?

You know, the Lord told me something and, and when he said it, it, it, oh God, it did something to me.

He said, blessings and prosperity are not benefits to serving God.

Let me, let me say that again.

Blessings, which is success in every area of your life and prosperity are not benefits to serving God.

This is what he told me.

He said it's a right.

Oh boy, I hope you caught that.

It's not a benefit to serving God, but it's a Right, Let's.

He said, before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody after the law or under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.

So the law was our guardian until Christ Christ came.

That we might be justified by faith.

We're justified by faith.

You are justified by faith.

Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

So in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God.

Verse 26.

So in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith.

So you are a child of God through faith.

You are a.

Let me say that again because it's very important.

You are a child of God through faith.

You're not a beneficiary.

You are a child of God.

You're not an employee.

You are a child of God through faith.

Verse 27.

For all of you who were baptized in Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.

I am not under the law, but I'm blood through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Did you hear me?

I'm not under the law, but I am blood.

Or should I say like this?

I am family through the blood of Jesus Christ.

So.

So all that is of God, all that God has is I.

I don't receive it as a benefit.

I receive it as a right.

Because I'm family.

You know, family has a right to certain things.

Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.

When your family.

You have a right.

Now, if you were just an employee of God, then.

Then, you know, you might deem it as benefits.

But when you're family, when you're connected, hallelujah to God, You.

You.

You're not only.

It's not a benefit to you, it's a right that you have.

I have a right to be blessed.

I have a right to be healed.

I have a right that my family is saved and protected.

I have a right to prosperity.

It's not a benefit, it's a right.

It's a right.

So.

So see, See, once we view it like that, that it's not a benefit, then maybe we won't be in.

In our.

It.

Maybe we won't be.

With a lack of faith, questioning whether this thing is going to happen for me.

I wonder if God is going to do this.

I wonder if God is going to do that.

When, when, when you recognize yourself as having a right because you are family, then you can rest easy at night.

You know, benefits get taken all the time from.

From employee.

Employers would take benefits away in a heartbeat.

But when your family, Hallelujah to God.

When you're connected by blood and you are connected by blood through the blood of Jesus Christ, faith has justified you.

Faith has made you a family through the blood of Jesus Christ.

When you recognize that it is so, it's a right.

Then you don't have anything to worry about.

All I'm trying to get you to see on today is God says I am, which means you are.

And if.

If you haven't figured it out by now, you are family.

You are made in his image.

You are not God, but you are like him.

Listen, people of God, there is so much that you have.

There is so.

I mean, so much that you have a right to that.

That there is so.

You have so much inside you, but you got to see it.

You got to see how God created you.

You have to recognize y'all.

Excuse me.

You have to recognize the power that God has given you.

You have to recognize the authority that God has given you.

It's verse 29, talks about, you know, you are then Abraham's seed.

Do you understand the, the kind of walk that Abraham had with God?

He's family.

As a matter of fact, when we go to.

Hey, when we go to heaven is we.

We go to.

Oh, God.

I don't want to get too much into that, but, but understand, you are family.

What did he tell him?

What did he tell Abraham when he made covenant?

He said, I will bless them that bless you.

I will curse them that cursed you.

Why?

Because your family.

That sound like some, some mafia type stuff.

You know, when, when you do good by the, the.

The mafia of the boss, then nobody can touch you because your family.

Hallelujah.

And for somebody on today, it may not sound like much because you've had family screw you over.

You really haven't had family really be family.

But let me tell you this.

God is real family.

God is not like some people or like some family who will dog you out or have dogged you out and, and left you by yourself.

No family is family.

When you are family with God, you're family.

You don't have to worry about whether he's gonna.

What he's gonna do to you or.

Or do for you.

Is he gonna make a way for you?

You don't have to worry about any of that.

Hallelujah, Jesus Christ.

And we are Christians with family.

Be encouraged, people.

God has more in store for you.

But you gotta recognize who you are.

Don't let the devil trick you another day.

Make you feel like you know you.

You will never succeed you.

You won't.

You won't be anything God's got you.

Rest easy on tonight.

Cast your cares on him.

Tell your daddy about it.
