When we forget the majesty of the culmination of so many prophesies about the coming of the Messiah, Christmas becomes white noise instead of the faith-builder it was intended to be. Christ’s birth proved he was who he said he was, the promised Messiah. Therefore, Christ can do what he promised to do, save humanity from their sins and set the captives free.
