President Joe Biden will propose a boost in tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from China, a move viewed by some as a strategic one designed to increase support among blue-collar voters for the 2024 election. He was expected to announce this request during his Wednesday visit to the United Steelworkers headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
