Shownotes

In 1968, the poor, working class suburb of Scotswood was shocked and heartbroken by the murder of two young boys in the space of two months: four-year-old Martin Brown and three-year-old Brian Howe. But this was nothing compared to the horror when it was revealed their killer was an 11 year old neighbour, Mary Bell.

This week Kat and Taylor dive into the life and crimes of Mary Bell, also known as the Tyneside Strangler, a case of child abuse and neglect that left a permanent scar on this close community.
