Shownotes
The time has come for the folks to complete their rite of passage as 20-something white boys... and publish a podcast episode talking about Wendigos (see episode title for traditional spelling). In the fifth and final installment of the first season were taking everything we've learned so far about the First Nations and using it to unpack the myth of the Windigo, a cannibalistic spirit that plagues starving settlements during the frozen winter.
The folks will be discussing the Windigo's traditional roots as a lesson against cannibalism and overhunting, as well as how the story and cryptid have evolved since European contact.
