In Acts 4, the disciples are brought before the Jewish religious leaders and told not to preach the gospel anymore. However, Luke tells us that the religious leaders recognized these men as having been with Jesus. What about the disciples was so Jesus-like? Well, Dan lists three distinguishing characteristics from the text: knowledge, courage, and horizontal love for neighbor. In this episode, we walk through these themes, paying special attention to the distinguishing mark of knowledge.
