Once you learn to drive a car, it's nearly automatic. You can relax and do what's now natural and listen to the radio, talk to someone, drink a coffee, and look at the area around you. Driving requires you to be relaxed and alert, looking for signs of where to go or when you need to react. Driving and intuition are similar to this. You need to be practiced enough to relax into it and stay ready to follow the signs and take action. It also helps to have a guide when you get a bit lost, like a map or GPS, because we can't be perfect all the time.
