Do you ever feel run down, overworked, and under-rewarded for that work? Often times, this comes from our own doing. Today, I want to talk about one antidote to these feelings: self-care.

Why should you care about self-care? Why is it important? How can it help you? Here are just two of the many benefits of self-care.


  • It’s been shown to reduce stress.
  • It can improve your mental health.


There are many self-care activities that you can do. Here are a few examples:


  • Yoga
  • Take a hot bath
  • Enjoy a cup of hot tea or coffee
  • Journaling
  • Meditation
  • Spirituality practices
  • Get a massage
  • Listen to calming music
  • Cut down on your screen time


Make sure to keep yourself healthy physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Self-care is a vital part of your health, so never be afraid to take some time for yourself.
