I am here to remind you just how awesome you are. It is easy for us to forget just how awesome. We are, we're always focused on the future, the next goal, the next obstacle, where we are now, what we have, what we don't have, but we don't often take stock on what we've done and how far we've come. I want you to look back.
Think about the last obstacle you overcame that seemed impossible at the time. Go back even further and think about how you would've perceived that obstacle from even further back. If you go back 5, 10, 20 years, and you could tell your past self everything you've achieved to this point, your past self would likely be amazed.
At what you've been able to do, things that did not seem possible even worth considering in the past. And yet now you take all those things for granted. They're done. Of course they've been done, and maybe you could even easily do them again. Because you have grown and you have become more powerful, stronger, smarter, wiser, better connected, more motivated, more awake, alert, knowledgeable, more introspective.
Much better than you were before. You never start over. You never start from nothing. You never lose everything as long as you're alive because you have your knowledge, your experience, and the strength that you develop. I want you to look back and think of all the things you've done, all the impossible things you've done in the past.
So many things that you went into and said, I could never do that. This is over my head. I've pushed too hard. I've gone too far, and yet you've done them. Now you may say, well, but what about. I don't wanna hear about the what abouts. Of course you failed. If you don't fail, it's only because you never tried.
The only people who always succeed, never try anything worth doing. You've failed and you've learned, and you use that to overcome the next thing, which is how you've gotten where you are today. You.
So I am here to remind you, in case you've forgotten just how fricking awesome you are, that you are someone that your past self would look up to and say. Holy mackerel. Look at all you have done. I didn't know I was capable of a 10th of that, and it's all been done. Other people today may be looking at you and impressed saying, wow, I could never do that.
People may be intimidated by what you're doing because they're so impressed by your success, you're looking forward. But for a moment, look back and just recognize how awesome you are with all you've done.
