Transcripts

Ron:

The love of God is so not human. But we have access. We have access to His heart. We can draw on that love anytime we want, consciously, I'm saying. We can draw on that love any time we want. Wait before the Lord and draw upon His love. Draw upon Him. Because it's not in your strength.

When you start feeling worn out or depleted, don't fight. But go before the Lord and just wait on Him and draw upon His love. We have such tremendous access to the Father's heart 24 /7 and all we need to do is just avail ourselves of it.

Dale:

We sometimes feel like we move in and out of God's love. We don't. You move in and you stay. That's where you live. You're with God.

Ken:

We have to recognize, for one thing, that God is love. That's who He is. And so when we relate to Him in His love and stay in that presence and anytime, we're going through something and we feel something coming in, just simply slip back and say, Lord, I'm not going to relate to that. Whatever it is, I'm going to relate to Your love.

I know that You love me, that You're with me. I'm not going to relate to what people think, how they feel, how they react to me, because honestly, all of that is a part of this world, and it's not where we live. We do not live in this world. We have been taken up out of this world. God loves us, and that we are continually reaching up into this next level of His love.

Dale:

Showing respect for one another, being polite to one another. Just simple things like that is loving people. Wherever we find the opportunity to serve our brother.

Ken:

That's what the Lord did remember. What kind of instructions did He give the disciples the night before He left?

The next day He went to the cross. He gave the example of the bond servant. We're to serve one another. We're to serve, in the love that God's imparted to our spirits, to our hearts. And that's who we are. We're love slaves to the Lord. We're bond servants with the Lord. We stay in that relationship with the Lord.

Ron:

I like what Dale was saying. I like the practicality when you leave your house, right when you leave your house, you have multiple opportunities to express the love of God, because it's not out there. It's like you say, the guy that cuts you off. If people just hate each other, just when they look at each other, they don't even know why.

But I like that, holding the door open or saying hi to somebody. Some guy that probably, would not even give you the time of day, you say hi to him. All you're doing is expressing the kindness and love of God, whether he knows it or not. And we have the opportunity all the time to do that.

How do you grow in the love of God? Exercise it! And we have the opportunity to do that as long as we're in this flesh.

Dale:

I purposed over the weekend to get two or three jokes and write them down. And I walked into my customer's shop, and I'd walk in and say hello, and I'd tell them a joke. And that changed the atmosphere, they laughed. But there's something about setting the atmosphere. It's setting the atmosphere with love.

Dale:

Love is like the atmosphere we breathe. It's all around us. We can reach in and appropriate it just like we breathe air. He's going to bring a situation , to where His love has to be the thing that overcomes that situation.

Ken:

I think sometimes we fail to remember we carry not just the presence of the Lord, but the love of the Lord in His presence. And so when we're out there mixing with people out there in the world, we're giving them His presence.

It's an automatic thing that comes out of your spirit as we walk in God's love. We determine ourselves by the impartation of His love to us who we are. And we walk in the awareness of who we are. The issue is that we know that God loves us and we're walking in His love.

Bill:

We are ministers and that's true, but I think if there's an awareness, whether it's the joke or it's a smile or a greeting, there's a way for us to enhance just who we are naturally.

Our challenge is to be aware , that who we are ministers . Be aware to walk and appropriate exam, exemplify whatever is the things of the spirit and not let the aches and pains of the body distract as it were from that. God is there 24/7 and in every situation circumstance, we tend to go in and out of that presence based on what we're doing or going through.

Ken:

So when we demonstrate our life by loving, it's such a simplistic thing and yet such an important thing. Love is the key. John 14 through 17 is, is some of the key scriptures that talk about coming in to that fullness of God's love in our relationship to the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.

That they all come to dwell within us. And they're a part of us. And the recognition of that is so very important to really be aware of at all times. Because He lives, He ever lives to make intercession for us. He's interceding to take us up just a little higher. We never stop going up into His presence.

We never stop becoming who He is. We never stop this love that He's imparting to our spirits. That's what we want. We want His love to grow in us. Until we become the love of God in the earth, completely.
