I'm your host Tamara K. Anderson and I am excited to be here with you today as we talk all about Is there spiritual warfare going on right now in these latter days before the second coming of Jesus Christ?

And today we're going to spend time in the scriptures as we explore Bible verses that give us exact proof that there is indeed spiritual warfare going on.

Going to talk first about the great wrath and the short window that helps us understand why the adversary's attacks on our family have suddenly accelerated.

Second, we're going to talk about the seduction of self worth, and we're going to expose the Bible verses that talk about the subtle lies the adversary whispers targeting our identity and faith.

Next, we're going to talk about the cooling of love and the rise of idols, how divisive media and online distractions are designed to isolate us, but it was biblically foretold. And finally, we're going to talk about the battle for natural affection, recognizing the spiritual targeted attack on families and marriages.

All right my friends, let's begin by pulling back the curtain on the timeline we are living in right now.

The spiritual warfare you feel happening isn't a coincidence, it's a fulfillment of biblical priority prophecy.

In Revelation, chapter 12, verse 12, Scripture warns, Woe to the inhabiters of this earth and of the seal, for the devil is coming down unto you having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. This is talking about our day. And in my conversations with both Christian men and women, I hear the exact same observation over and over.

Everyone is noticing a sudden uptick in the adversarial attacks. We are feeling it in our minds, in our bodies and in our families. Why is this happening?

Because as the return of Jesus Christ draws closer, the adversary's window of opportunity is shrinking. He's frantic, desperate, and operating with great wrath. These battles that we're facing are for our very souls.

And the adversary is trying so hard to wear you down till you're too tired to stay on the path that leads back to God, the only path that brings true peace. But knowing this timeline is drawing nigh strips away the adversary's power to surprise us.

Once we recognize that clock is ticking, we can look at how he is waging the war. The apostle Paul warns us in first Timothy, chapter 4, verse 1. Now the Spirit speaks.

Speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. The battle at this end of times is intellectual and spiritual. The enemy isn't showing up with a pitchfork.

He uses seducing spirits to subtly shift our focus from what matters most, Jesus Christ. He plants quiet deceptions to lure us away from the Savior and absolute truth.

Some of the most dangerous lies I see him using today are direct attacks on our worth as children of God. Seducing spirits may whisper in your mind, you've made too many mistakes. God can't possibly love you anymore. You don't matter, sister.

Those thoughts do not carry God's signature. They are customized doctrines of the devil, designed to make you throw down your shield of faith.

As the enemy attacks our minds, he's also attacking our relationships. Jesus gave us a stark warning in Matthew, chapter 24, verses 11 and 12. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.

And because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. We are seeing this cooling of the heart play out in real time.

Think about how the adversary uses influencers and divisive media to drive wedges between us, getting people to demonize and carry even a deep hatred for those who have a different opinion or viewpoint on something. This is absolutely heartbreaking.

And look how it ties into what is prophesied In Jude, chapter 1, verses 17 through 19, warning of Mockers in the last times. These be they who separate themselves sensual having not the spirit.

Today we're bombarded by a constant stream of online distractions, social media influencers. We are tempted to seek after money and popularity and likes, possessions or modern day idols, prioritizing them over the things of God.

We're seduced to look at things like pornography that ruin relationships with our spouse and our children. The enemy uses these distractions to separate us from God's spirit, our faith communities, and that leaves us isolated and vulnerable to his attacks.

And this brings us to the ultimate bullseye of the adversary's target.

Map the the Family in second Timothy, chapter three, verses one through three, Paul writes this Know also that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, disobedient parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection. This passage is a warning about the breakdown of relationships and our family unit today.

God designed us with natural affection, a divine built in love between spouses and between parents and children. Because the family is the fundamental unit to God's kingdom, the enemy is actively trying to poison it.

He works tirelessly to breed ungratefulness, division and pride in our homes. He wants kids to be disobedient to parents and spouses, being focused on loving only themselves.

If you have felt the strange friction or loss of warmth or a sudden wall of division in your home, recognize it for what it is. An end of times Spiritual siege. But the good news is you can boldly stand up with Jesus Christ and say, not in my home.

Yes, my friend, spiritual warfare is real and yes, it is happening in increasing increments in our day today. But remember, God has already won this war.
