Shownotes

On Episode 7 of OWTS we tell the remarkable story of Charles Miller, a little-known Southampton forward who is widely credited as 'the father of Brazilian football'.

South American football expert Josh Law of Guardian Sport and Forbes Magazine joins the podcast to tell us more about Miller, who played for Saints in the 1890s before going on to introduce the sport of football to Brazil.

It's a fascinating look at a crucial piece of Southampton FC's history - all Saints fans should be extremely proud of the fact Miller played at the club before taking his place in football history!
