Today, Walk with God begins a new season – Angelology. Angels are God’s messengers. They are created beings, and we are not to worship them. Jesus acknowledged their existence and spoke about them during His earthly ministry.

“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

Matthew 26:53

Angels are mentioned in 34 books of the Bible, more than 275 times. The most common Hebrew word for “angel” in the Old Testament is מַלְאָךְ (mal'akh). The most common Greek word for “angel” in the New Testament is ἄγγελος (angelos).

Angels are supernatural, celestial beings who serve as intermediaries between the divine and humanity. They act as messengers, guardians, and warriors of God’s will.
