Did you know that today’s teens are the most well-behaved and the most depressed?
“No one can know God without knowing himself.” - St. Athanasius
Welcome to the second episode of Catholics on Campus with Virginia Koch, a certified Catholic Coach and the founder of Knots Untied Coaching. Today, Virginia is addressing the current mental health and faith life crises among highschool and college-aged Catholics. Young people today are trying to live up to the impossible standards of social media, while simultaneously cutting ties with the only relationship that will ever truly fulfill them - their relationship with God Himself.
Virginia gives her readers access to the disturbing statistics and studies that reveal the depth of the issues, but she’s also sharing hope through groups like Active Minds and FOCUS: warriors on the front lines of the battle for minds and souls. As a mindset coach, Virginia also shares three ways that mindset coaching can help college students redirect their lives back to deeply fulfilling, personal relationships, both with God and with like-minded friends.
And if all of that isn’t enough, she ends by answering this question: Statistically speaking, who do you think is more successful in college? Hint: If you want better grades, you might want to consider chatting with the Lord.
