Shownotes
In this episode on the Health After 30 Podcast, I met up with Norwegian doctor Torkil Færø, author of The Pulse Cure to talk about Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and its importance in combating stress.
While we know stress is the main driver for so many diseases, Dr. Færø shares by tracking your HRV you can pinpoint valuable insights into our body's response to stress, allowing us to identify and address hidden stressors. By doing this, we can have a deeper understanding of bodies and optimising overall health.
One massive takeaway for me was when he mentioned that for most women who track their HRV, they feel like they have permission to rest, when they normally wouldn’t. And that’s the type of technology I can stand by.
Tune in for a charming conversation that will give you some tools to create a calmer and stress-free life.
