A graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Edward John majored in Film & Television Production, receiving his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism. His DVD series Fearless Living and Real Living have been featured on various international television shows.

Beginning in 2001, Edward John was a host and presenter for God TV. He also hosted his own show “Scene Doc,” covering such events as the “Dove/CMA Awards” in the USA. He is also a featured co-host on the upcoming TV series Beyond the Pulpit.
Edward John co-produced and starred in “The Chase” TV program, as seen on Joost.com and distributed to over 200 nations. Edward John was awarded the “Peoples Choice Award” by the NRB (National Religious Broadcasting) for “The Chase” and also won the prestigious “Angel Award” for excellence in Media.
For several years Edward John was an Ambassador for Life Outreach International, going into remote parts of the world with Jesus’ love and the Gospel. In addition to writing an advice column called “Dear John,” Edward John also pioneered a worldwide Bible study “Dream Visions,” which spread into five nations.
Edward John is also an accomplished musician. His hit songs, such as “What If,” and “I Give You My Heart,” went to the top of the charts in Europe and were played on Christian and secular radio stations worldwide. Edward John also produced and narrated the Words of Life audio Bible series of “Psalms” and “Proverbs.”
Edward John was introduced to music at a young age by his mother. With her gift for music, she taught him to worship God through songs. So it was natural for him to later write original songs and music, conveying the Lord’s message internationally through his music ministry. With a unique warmth, integrity, and passion, Edward John reaches people with his music through television and performing at various venues and events globally.
Edward John is the co-founder of Freesound Media, a family operated media company. He produced his first album, Edward John, in 2000. In 2005 he released his second album, Find Me Guilty, which has sold over 20,000 copies. It was produced by Norway’s renowned Bjorn Erik Pedersen with Beat Music, co-produced by Bernt Rune Stray, and with co-writing by Christian Ingebrigsten.
Edward John’s hit pop songs have impacted the Christian Contemporary music industry worldwide. The hit radio single, “What If,” became a highly requested song on Christian radio stations in the USA and Europe. The hit song, “I Give You My Heart,” was released in Norway and Sweden and features a duet with multi Eurovision winner and Sweden’s famed pop sensation, Carola Haggkvist. The ensuing tour generated record-breaking attendance in concert appearances in various Scandinavian cities. This original song of Edward John’s was placed on secular and Christian radio stations worldwide.
Edward John performed his song, “Time to Give,” on the TV show Life Today with James and Betty Robison. This song was also used as a theme song for their international outreach. Edward John has appeared numerous times on Life Today as a featured guest and musical artist.
Edward John’s teaching DVD series, Fearless Living and Real Living, are back-dropped with his original musical scores and music videos. He has been a featured musical performer on Canada’s 100 Huntley Street, as well as a special featured attendee at music award galas such as the Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and MTV Awards.
