SUMMARY:

The words we speak are to be Spirit and life. Anyone can put ideas together, so people comprehend on a human level; but the goal is to appropriate on the divine level. We are learning to draw more of the Lord, to penetrate into Him even more, and then to focus in faith as we speak. Skip the term, “oneness” and use the word “interpenetrate.” As we apply this, we experience His presence-- we are abiding in the Lord and He is abiding in us.

SHOW NOTES:

  • Jesus spent a lot of time waiting on the Lord. He was penetrating into the Father as a man.

  • We are coming into a time of the Body of Christ, when a person thinks less and less as an individual and more as being part of the Body of Christ.

  • We are learning to draw more of the Lord, to penetrate into Him even more, and then to focus in faith to the needs of others.

  • The best example of interpenetration is the relationship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • How do we penetrate into Him? By waiting on Him, by listening to His word, worshiping Him.

  • We are in a day of the leading of the Holy Spirit, as He penetrates into our spirit and we penetrate into His Spirit.

QUOTATIONS:

  • He is creating a oneness in the Family where even our individual pursuit of the Lord is swallowed up in the oneness of the organism of the Body of Christ.

  • The melting together in our spirits, the oneness, and that releases the power of God, the authority of God in ways that we don't even—will never—reach into individually.

  • That is an all-inclusive thing, to where our success is based upon what we do together.

  • We are all taking that unique ministry of a part of the Body of Christ, and we're coming together making it work.

  • As we open up to the interpenetration of God into us, it comes in and penetrates our whole being, penetrates our thinking, and it becomes His thinking.

  • Look at the way the Holy Spirit, the Son, and the Father function. You can't separate them.

REFERENCES:

John 14:17

He is with you and He shall be in you.

John 14:8-9

Philip said to Him, “ Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'show us the Father?'”

I Corinthians 12:26

And as one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

Acts 2:44

And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common.

John 17:20-23

I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

John 15:7

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

TAKE AWAY:

The things that we as believers are experiencing is less and less as isolated individuals. In this interpenetration of the spirit, we are joining in with those who are focused on the Word of the Lord, on the Father's Family and the coming forth of the Kingdom of God. The interpenetration of God and man comes about by the Holy Spirit. He is in the process of invading our spirits and our thinking, as we draw on Him.

Transcripts

Dale:

Our experiences are the lifeblood of that penetration of God into this man. It's our life. Jesus spent a lot of time by Himself. And that was His connection with the Father. That is an example. He was penetrating the Father as a man. He showed us the way . And we're going to continue to penetrate Him deeper and deeper and deeper by waiting upon Him, by set, putting ourselves in the position that He can speak to us.

Ron:

He is creating a oneness in the family where even our individual pursuit of the Lord will be swallowed up in the oneness of the organism of the body of Christ. Give yourself to the family.Give yourself to the body of Christ.

We're coming to a place where the strong will bear the infirmities of the weak. That is the ministry of the body of Christ. And I think as we get into that more and more, we're going to see much more effectiveness . The melting together in our spirits, the oneness, and that releases the power of God, the authority of God in ways that we don't even will never reach into that individually . We've had people that moved into pretty great ministries, but not even in comparison to what the body of Christ will move into in the oneness and the interpenetration of ourselves and into God.

Debbie:

It is every joint supplying the blood flows through the whole body and every joint applies the ability to move.

Dale:

As we wait on the Lord. That's where we're coming together in the family. A lot of people think that if somebody is waiting on the Lord, there's something they're doing by themselves. It's you joining into the those who are focused on the Lord, focused in the family, those who have a relationship . His voice and the Word that He's bringing is for all of us . Those who wait before the Lord will mount up on wings of eagles. To me, that's an all inclusive thing . To where our success is based upon what we do together.

We go together as His family. Those that are willing to band together and listen, band together and seek Him. We are all taking that unique ministry of a part of the body of Christ and we're coming together making it work. We can't do it independent of one another.

Ken:

I don't know that we understand how much we have already reached in to that level of oneness. This penetration between God and man, I think is is so much greater than any of us really understand.

Debbie:

What does it mean to penetrate? Interpenetration of God into us. It comes in to us. It fills us , as we open up to it, it comes in and penetrates our whole being, penetrates our thinking, and it becomes His thinking. We penetrate into Him by waiting on Him, by listening to Him, by focusing on Him, by worshiping Him. He ministers to us, He interpenetrates us because we're open to hearing Him.

Ken:

That was also in John 17, where Jesus prayed to the Father that they would be one, as you and I are one. Look at the way the Holy Spirit, the Son, and the Father function. You can't separate them. That's oneness. That's the true oneness that God's looking for to function with us. We are in a day of the leading by the Holy Spirit in a level of oneness. Our leading comes from the Holy Spirit, and it's because of this interpenetration between man and God, and God and man.

Dale:

Our joining together at the foot of the cross, at the foot of His throne, join hands for eternity and lift them to Him as His worshipers.
