Episode Theme:

A call to reflect Christ not just in belief—but in lifestyle.

Welcome:

Welcome to the UNTIED Podcast, where we untangle the noise of life with truth, faith, and purpose. In today’s episode, we challenge ourselves with a powerful question: Are we truly living for Christ the way He lived for us?

Episode Overview:

In this episode, we dive into 2 Corinthians 5:11–17, exploring what it means to live a transformed life in response to the sacrifice and love of Jesus. Paul reminds us that in Christ, we are not just improved—we are made new. That transformation is meant to be seen, lived out, and reflected daily.

This isn’t about surface-level Christianity. It’s about a deep, life-altering commitment to live as Christ lived—with purpose, surrender, and devotion.

Key Focus:

To live for Christ the way He lived for us means embracing a life shaped by His priorities, His mission, and His heart.

Main Points:

1. A Life Anchored in Prayer

Jesus consistently withdrew to pray. If the Son of God depended on prayer, how much more should we? A Christ-centered life is sustained through constant communication with the Father.

2. A Life Committed to Study

Jesus knew and lived the Word. Living for Christ requires more than inspiration—it demands immersion in Scripture, allowing truth to shape our thinking and actions.

3. A Life Drawn Near to God

Jesus lived in perfect fellowship with the Father. We are called to pursue that same closeness—intentionally drawing near, not drifting through faith.

4. A Life Devoted to Doing God’s Will

Jesus declared, “I came not to do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” Living for Christ means aligning our desires with God’s purpose, even when it’s difficult.

5. A Life of Submission

From the wilderness to the cross, Jesus modeled complete surrender. True discipleship is marked by humility and a willingness to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Key Scripture:

2 Corinthians 5:11–17 – A reminder that we are new creations, called to no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf.

Takeaway Thought:

You cannot claim the cross of Christ without committing to the life of Christ.

He didn’t live halfway for you—so don’t live halfway for Him.

Call to Action:

Take time this week to evaluate your life. Are you living for Christ—or just believing in Him? Choose one area—prayer, study, submission—and intentionally grow in it.

Closing Encouragement:

Living like Christ isn’t about perfection—it’s about direction. Each day is an opportunity to reflect Him more clearly. The same love that saved you is the love that now sends you to live differently.
