After one seriously disappointing plate of nachos, Nerdy gets into the growing problem of AI-generated food photos, restaurants cutting corners, cheap takeout containers holding $35 plates, and why sometimes the food you ordered looks like it’s been through some things.

But somehow… because this IS Oh That’s Random… the conversation goes from AI food pictures to cottage cheese, overpriced plates, food influencers exposing the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants, keeping your favorite spots secret, and what happens when a viral review blows up a small restaurant and the quality starts slipping.

The real question: If the food tastes good, does it matter if the restaurant used an AI-generated picture? Or should the picture actually represent what’s coming to your table?
