You Got Served follows two best friends, Elgin and David, who lead a hip-hop dance crew in LA. They’re passionate about dance and need to raise money to reimburse family and underground associates - and so they enter a high-stakes dance battle competition. The movie highlights their rivalry with a suburban crew and explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and redemption. Along the way, Elgin and David face personal struggles and must reconcile their differences to win the ultimate battle and protect what matters most to them. The film showcases the power of friendship, the spirit of Hip Hop culture, and the transformative nature of dance.
