In John 9, Jesus healed a man who had been blind from birth—but physical blindness was not the only kind of blindness revealed that day.

Man, I'm excited today.

I want to talk about something the Lord has been speaking to me about.

Let me just get a sip of water here.

If you have your Bibles, go on over to John chapter nine.

We're going to be talking about two different types of blindness today.

You know, Jesus spent a lot of time healing people, going around healing the sick.

He was either going to heal someone, coming back from somebody, on the way somewhere to heal someone.

It's a lot of time if he's ministering those three years, just a ministering test, healing to the sick.

And there wasn't one person that went away that came to Jesus requesting healing, that went away disappointed, not one person.

That alone should encourage you.

It encourages me that that healing power, that same power that raised Christ from the dead, that lives on the inside of us, you know, we have a risen Savior.

And that same power that healed those people back then is available to us today.

And the Lord is not sending anyone away sick.

He's not holding back on anyone.

He has healing for you.

So if you need to receive, you have come to the right place.

But we're going to be going through John chapter nine.

You know, there are many people that came to Jesus.

Many, many people that were suffering from blindness.

And you know, in the scriptures, it talks about the Pharisees and it talks about people that were blind.

And they both had a blind vision.

And the Pharisees were blind in a spiritual sense.

The spirit of religion had blinded them.

And even when Jesus did miracles right in front of them, they couldn't see past their own doctrine.

They couldn't see past their own preconceived ideas, and they didn't let Jesus get in the way of their doctrine.

They were spiritual, spiritually blind.

You know, Jesus called them whitewashed sepulchers.

They were, they were alive on the outside, but dead at the core.

And that spiritual blindness, it says in Matthew that the spirit traditions of man had made the word of God of no effect.

You know, they were so wrapped up in being right, in controlling the people that even when the Messiah was right in front of them, raising the dead, healing the sick and casting out devils, they couldn't think about what he was Doing other than to try and catch him and imprison him.

They were so terrified of losing their control over people and ultimately the revenue those people would bring that, that they just, they just couldn't receive from him.

How sad is that?

That spiritual blindness is something that we still see in a lot of, in the world today.

Now, you know, that is rampant in the church as in, as in a body, the worldwide, the global church.

There are many different pockets of this religious spirit that rises up and you'll be able to, you'll be able to see when religious spirits are really affecting people because you know, they're, they're not particularly pleasant people to be around.

Most oftentimes they're usually quite negative.

They're not word people, they're doctrine people.

There's a difference.

They're more excited about the doctrine than they are about the word of God.

And even when they read the word of God, they interpret it through a lens of very much trying to earn something.

You know, the Pharisees could not understand.

Their whole doctrine was based on keeping the law, on keeping the rules, keeping the, keeping the wholeness of the law.

And if they didn't, they didn't feel like they could receive anything from, from the Lord.

But when Jesus came, you know, he changed everything for us.

We don't live under a law based covenant anymore.

We live under a covenant of grace.

And that spiritual, those spiritual blinders need to come off in order for us to really receive the fullness of Christ and his power working through us, including healing.

This is so important.

And you know, religious mindsets and they run deep, they get firmly established in people.

And every now and again, if you, if you've come from a traditional church background, just listen to the words you say in the conversations that you have with people and you'll start to pick out of your own, your own words whether there's legalism in there with this and law in there still, you know, it runs deep in us and it takes renewing of the mind to be able to break free from it.

But I want to look at this.

There's a couple of different things in here on the pickup.

This is John chapter nine.

We're going to start here in verse one it says, as Jesus passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.

His disciples asked him, rabbi, who has sinned?

This man or his parents, that he was born blind.

Now this is one of the things that the Pharisees here, that religiosity would say is they're always looking to cast blame.

And I Want you to.

To hear me here because, you know, you aren't sick because it's your fault.

You are sick because it is the devil's fault.

This is really important.

We can take on a responsibility, a blame for something that is not ours.

Now, sometimes, you know, we might do stupid.

We do stupid, and, you know, we get hurt in some way.

And you could say, well, there's natural consequences.

There is natural consequences for our stupid behavior.

But don't get this confused.

Sickness entered the world because of the enemy.

The enemy is the author of all sickness and all disease and pain and suffering.

He's the author of those things and why there might be natural consequences.

And, you know, if somebody has been drinking heavily, you know, maybe they have liver sclerosis, or if they have drug addiction and related illnesses, you know, I mean, we could go on down the list.

There are natural consequences to us abusing our body that make us sick.

Yes, absolutely.

But where did that original sickness come from?

Original sickness came from the same place as original sin.

And the author of both of those was the enemy.

But the answer to both of those is Jesus.

And in the same way that Jesus cut off the.

The root of sin, he has cut off the fruit of sin, which is sickness.

They've all been dealt with at the cross.

Amen.

But this religious spirit, spirit is constantly looking to cast blame.

And it says here, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind.

You know, when our daughter Hannah, many of you have heard of our testimony with our.

With our Hannah, she was three years old.

She was sent home from the hospital to die with an incurable disease.

But Jesus healed her.

You know, in that time, that three years, you know, we love God.

We were associate pastors of assistant pastors of a church.

We had many people tell us, and we prayed for her a lot, but we never saw any results.

One of the things that we heard a lot from people was maybe this is God's judgment on you.

Maybe your daughter is sick because, you know, it's something that you've done.

You know, have you confessed this sin?

Have you confessed that sin?

And we as parents took on some of the blame for our daughter being born with an autoimmune disease.

Now, that's ridiculous when I say it out loud now.

But you know, religiosity, when you are in that mindset, you believe the lies that other people tell you.

You.

You'll take the bait.

You'll start to blame yourself.

You.

That condemnation is subtle, but it gets stronger and stronger and stronger.

And I want to help you with this, okay?

Your children aren't sick because of you.

You're.

You aren't sick yourself because of you.

The.

The.

The author of those problems, the original author of sickness and disease is always broken the enemy.

And you know, this.

This blame game never helps anybody.

It never helps anybody move on.

Don't even waste your breath.

Another brain cell thinking about it.

Jesus answered these.

These people here, and he says, neither this man nor his parents sinned, but it happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

Now, oftentimes, I've heard this, people use this to suggest that God is getting some kind of glory from us being sick.

This is a misinterpretation of the scripture.

Now, Jesus actually says a similar thing about Lazarus in a little bit later in the scriptures there in John 11, verse 4, Jesus is a similar phrase he's saying about Lazarus.

But what he's talking about, if you study this out, is God is about to get the glory.

Healing is a work of God.

And when people receive healing and we see the fruit of that healing manifest, that is where God gets the glory.

So healing is a work of God, he's saying, but it happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

It happened.

It didn't say that God sent it, but it's saying that there will be a work of God.

He knew what was about to happen.

He knew that healing was available for this man and that God was going to get the glory through this man being healed by not living with blindness.

God does not put sickness on people that they.

That he might somehow get a twisted sense of glory from them.

Learn to live as a martyr and be sick.

No, that's a twisted.

That's taken a con text out of context, and you're left with a con.

As my husband says, man, we need to be careful.

We.

We understand this.

Otherwise we're going to buy into a light of a religious spirit that says God puts sickness on people to teach them something.

Yes.

Now listen, did we learn things when Hannah was sick?

Yes, absolutely we did.

But that doesn't mean that God caused the sickness in the first place.

Let's not get that mixed up.

Right.

Really important.

And Marsha says, I had a priest tell me and that my son was carrying the sins of everybody else.

No, Marcia, that is what Jesus did for you.

No human can do that.

That is not scriptural.

That is from the pit of hell.

Right.

And if we believe this, you know, the.

The enemy knows the scripture too, and he loves to get.

He loves to take a scripture and twist it so that we think it's.

They think it sounds like something God would say, but it's slightly off, you know, and it's dangerous because we'll believe.

We'll believe it's believable, right?

So we'll put.

We'll put faith in something that isn't.

That isn't true, and we'll end up receiving something we don't want to receive.

No human person, no human being can take the sins of everybody else.

No one can carry your sin.

You are personally responsible for your sin.

And the moment that you receive Jesus and you take on his forgiveness, he takes on your sin in exchange.

Your sins have been omitted.

Your sins have been paid for, and you've received that.

No person on this earth is capable of carrying your sins on behalf of somebody else.

Okay?

Or your sickness.

By the way, this blame game doesn't work.

So he says the works of him, I must do the works of him who sent me.

While it is day, night is coming when no one can work.

But while I'm in the world, I'm the light of the Lord.

He had a mission.

Now look what he does next.

In verse 6, he says, when he had said this, he spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva.

Now, in biblical times, and I think even still true today, you know, what if we spit on someone, it's pretty insulting.

It's insulting.

Back then, it was actually cursing a person.

To spit on them was cursing a person.

Well, here is that.

He spat on the ground, on the dirt and made clay with the saliva.

He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay and said to him, go wash in the pool of siloam.

Now, I want you to see something.

You know, when the enemy came, he cut He.

After the fall, the ground was cursed.

The ground was cursed.

Before then, things would grow.

Way back in the garden of Eden, things would grow and there was no problem.

But after the fall of mankind, after the sin, after they ate of the fruit of the tree and mankind, there was suffering the consequences, you know, the ground became cursed.

Look at this in verse 17.

This is Genesis 3, verse 17.

And to Adam he said, because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, you shall not eat of it.

Cursed is the ground on account of you.

And in hard labor you will eat of it all of the days of your life.

Now, this is important, right?

Because now that there was going to be thorns in the ground that weren't there before.

There was.

It was going to be.

These thorns and thistles will bring it forth for you.

And you will eat of the plants of the field by the sweat of your face.

And you will eat the bread until you return to the ground, until you die.

Because out of it you're taken for your dust, and to dust you will return.

This was.

This was a result of Adam and Eve placing more trust in the lies of the enemy than they did in the word of God.

And because of that, the curse.

The whole earth became cursed.

The ground became cursed, the dirt became cursed.

Hard work, hard labor was a fruit of that.

Before, that work was a joy.

Now it's hard labor.

And the ground had thorns and thistles.

It was unfruitful.

This is here.

He spat Jesus in John 9, verse 6.

When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made clay with his saliva.

Now, what Jesus is doing here, he is inserting a part of himself, his own spirit, part of his own.

His own body, into the thing that was cursed into the ground.

He was inserting himself into the problem to cure it.

And when he took that clay, made the clay from the.

From the spittle and the earth.

When he made the clay and he anointed the eyes of the blind man, he said to him, go wash in the pool of siloam.

Jesus was literally inserting a part of himself, the answer, into the middle of that problem and applying it to the man's eyes.

He was redeeming that man from the curse of the ground that he was standing.

Adding on.

Man, think about how important that is.

This was one first step towards what Jesus is about to reveal through his death, burial, and resurrection.

He was literally taking the first step to redemption for mankind in a physical sense and demonstrating it by.

By leading a man out of physical blindness and doing it in front of people that were so blinded with religion that they were spiritually blind.

He was showing people how to see.

He was showing the religious how to.

How to view a miracle.

He was.

He was proving himself here in this moment.

And he says to this man, go wash in the pool of siloam.

Now, you know, this pool was about three quarters of a mile from where this event took place.

And this is interesting.

You know, there's a.

There's a lot closer of pools.

The pool of Bethesda was much closer by.

But Jesus sent this man.

And actually the word siloam means sent.

And he sent this man, you know, to struggle through the streets of the city.

There to go in the, you know, in his blindness with clay on his eyes and spit running down his face.

You know, and I think this was a really important thing that this, that happened here.

You know, this man and you know, he did not approach Jesus.

Jesus approached him.

It says, it said right at the beginning, Jesus passed by and saw a man blind from birth.

And he approached the man.

The man did not come up to Jesus asking to be healed.

He didn't ask him to pray for him or anything, right?

But Jesus took this man and you know, in every miracle that we see, there is always some demonstration of faith, some, some demonstration of trust and confidence, some response to what Jesus is doing.

And this man until this point had been passive.

He hadn't demonstrated any faith whatsoever.

So Jesus needed to see some demonstration of faith, some, some demonstration of agreement.

Now he stood there and allowed Jesus to apply the clay to his eyes.

But you know, I think honestly this was much more about a faith walk than it was anything else.

You know, the reason this man had to go and walk 3/4 of a mile to the pool of Siloam.

Jesus was fulfilling something.

The word Siloam means sent.

He was sending him.

But the fact that this man even tried to find, struggle through, through the streets, the busy streets there on his own and get to this pool when it would have been much more convenient to go to the, to the pool of a Bethesda that was closer by.

But you know, you can imagine all of the time he was taking those steps along that 3/4 of a mile journey.

You know, he was, he was thinking about what happened.

He was, he was replaying in his mind the words that he'd heard Jesus say.

He was, he was thinking about the conversations that he'd heard on the street and he was following and he was moving in faith, in obedience to the direction that Jesus had told him to go.

And you can, must have imagined on the, on what he felt in his heart at the moment, man, I'm going to get to this pool and I'm going to wash and then my eyes are going to be opened.

You can imagine the anticipation, the expectation that would have had time to build as this man was taking this three quarter of an a mile journey.

Maybe he had people to leave him, maybe he was on his own, we don't know.

But you know, he went.

This is an absolute act of faith that this man went and did that.

He says, so he went away and he washed and he returned singing.

And can you imagine how jubilant he must have been on his return journey, he went 3/4 mile one way, washed, came through.

That's a mile and a half round trip, right?

He came back seeing, I'm sure it was quicker on the way back than it was on the way there, right?

But the neighbors.

And think about this as well.

There's lots of people in those streets that are standing around watching.

Think of what a spectacle this must have been in that town.

At that moment, you see this blind man staggering through the streets with, you know, spit and clay stuck to his face.

And I'm going to wash. You know, I met a man called Jesus.

He said if I washed in this pool, then I would, I'd be able to see.

You can imagine the hoopla that he would have attracted during this mile and a half round trip.

And it says actually in verse eight, the neighbors and those that had previously seen that he was blind said, is this not he who sat and begged?

And.

And some said, this is he.

Others said, oh no, he's just, he just looks like him.

But he said, no, I'm he, this is me.

But they said to him, well, how were your eyes opened?

You know, one miracle attracts the next.

This is so important.

I've seen this over and over and over again.

One miracle attracts the next.

This is really important.

He answers, is a man called Jesus made clay at night in my eyes, said to me, go wash in the pool of Siloam.

And.

And so I went away and washed and received my sight.

Now, he doesn't know where he is because, you know what, he was blind when he met him, right?

So he probably doesn't know what Jesus looks like.

But then he says, they bought a man who had been blind.

The Pharisees investigate.

These are the, these are the people with the spirit of religion, right?

And so he says, they bought the man who had been born blind to the Pharisees.

And now it was the.

It was the Sabbath day when Jesus had made the clay and opened the eyes.

This is the other thing.

This is something that, you know, Jesus ran into this a couple of times, actually healing people on the Sabbath.

He healed the man with the withered arm on the Sabbath as well.

And he actually, that on that account he went right into the temple, found the man in church, in the temple with a withered arm and healed him.

And the, you know, the Pharisees got very upset and they wanted to bring the letter of the law against Jesus saying he was not allowed to heal on the Sabbath.

Now this is important because the Sabbath was supposed to be a blessing.

It was a day of rest.

You know, the Lord, when he created the earth, he created it throughout Genesis.

And then on the seventh day, he rested.

It was supposed to be a day of rest and refreshing.

And they'd taken something that was supposed to be a blessing.

Their religious spirits had taken something that was supposed to be a blessing and turned it into bondage.

And so they would much rather see somebody and be sick and not.

And not receive their healing than for them to be made free on a Sabbath day.

And that shows you that their doctrine was more important to them than people.

They weren't operating out of a spirit of love and care for people.

They were operating from that religious spirit that wanted to control and argue and fight and keep people in bondage.

You know, they used the doctrine, they.

The law to literally control people.

And the Pharisees were business people.

They were getting.

They were getting money.

They were getting revenue from these people, from taxes they.

They collected in different things in the temple as well.

And so, you know, they.

They didn't want Jesus in there taking and taking their limelight, taking their control, hurting their revenue streams.

They had an ulterior motive.

So they tried to say, you know what, it's the Sabbath day.

He.

He doesn't keep the Sabbath day.

This.

This man's a law breaker.

And so they questioned this man about, who do you think this is?

He says, you know, he said he's a prophet.

The Jews didn't really like that.

And so they tried to.

They tried to find his parents.

So they go to the parents now.

Is this your son who they say was born blind?

Was he actually blind, though?

Was he actually blind?

Because now he can see, but was he actually blind?

They wanted to find out.

They wanted to try and find a way to discredit a miracle.

This is another thing that these spiritually blind people will do.

They'll try to discredit things that God is doing, you know, but.

But was that person really healed?

Did the pain always 100% go?

You know, is it.

Is it.

But it's better now?

But yes, it hasn't all gone, has it?

You know, that religious spirit will never be satisfied.

It'll take amazing testimonies of people that have been healed, and it will try to find ways to discredit other believers.

Even people have whole websites devoted to this where all they try to do is discredit believers when they claim they've had a miracle or they've seen a breakthrough in some area.

They're giving glory to God.

And these.

This religious spirit will Come out and try to discredit it.

So call them out for what they are.

It's religious spirit, it's of the enemy.

And so they were trying to do that here.

Is this your son who's born blind?

How does he now see?

And his parents in verse 20 answered them.

We know that this is our son, that he was born blind, but now he, now he sees.

We don't know how or who opened his eyes.

We, we don't know.

You know, he's of age, ask him.

This man was a grown up.

He was able to speak for himself.

His parents said this because they feared the Jews.

See this is another thing that religious spirit does is it speaks fear.

Fear is the rel, is the language of religiosity.

It's the language of religion.

And there are many world religions that are based on fear.

This is something that sets Christianity apart from every other religion.

It's not based on fear, it's based on faith, it's based on relationship, it's based on freedom, on love.

It's not based on rules and regulations and fear.

That's aimed at controlling people.

And Jesus came, you know, in love to set people free.

But this, this religious spirit was, was trying to control people with fear.

And that's why his parents said, you know what, we don't know, you better ask him, he's of age.

Don't ask us.

We, you know, we're innocent, we don't know anything.

His parents said this because they feared the Jews for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed that he was the Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.

So there they are cut off, they'd be cut off from the, from their community.

The religious spirit will love to tell you all about the consequences.

Oh but the consequences.

Oh but thinks what's going to happen?

Right?

You know what's going to.

I've even had people that don't want me to pray for them because, not because they don't believe that they can be healed, but because they're worried that what will happen if they are healed, if they are healed, then what will the doctor think?

What will my church think?

My family doesn't believe in healing.

This is the fear of that religious spirit.

It's controlling all of the consequences.

What's going to happen?

It's if you receive your healing and then you can't get your welfare check anymore.

That is fear based control.

And they'll try to, it'll try to tell you all of the negative consequences that could result from you coming To a place of freedom.

Now when you say it out loud, it sounds so ridiculous.

Why would somebody that loves you not want you to be free?

Why would somebody that really genuinely loves you not want you to walk in health and wholeness?

That doesn't even make sense.

It doesn't.

That doesn't even make sense.

When you talk about in the context of God, of course God loves you.

Of course God would want you to be free and whole and.

And walking.

And free and walking in health, right?

Or even the people that we love, our family members, if the people really love you, they'd want positive consequences for you, right?

Not so with the religious spirit.

It's quite the opposite.

So his parents said again, asking if he's of age again, they called the man who was blind and said to him, give glory to God.

You know, this glory that the Lord gets doesn't come from us being sick.

It comes from us walking in his fullness.

It comes from us walking in the finished work of the cross of what Jesus paid for us to have.

So important, he says, because we know that this man is a sinner.

Here's the other thing that religious spirit likes to do that spiritual blindness likes to do.

You know, it likes to point out your sin, point out your weakness, point out everything that you've done wrong.

And here's what you do.

The scriptures say you agree with the adversary.

Quickly say, you know what?

Yeah, I was a sinner.

Yeah, But Jesus paid for it.

Jesus paid for it.

Amen.

I'm not.

I'm not a sinner anymore.

I'm the healed of the Lord.

I'm set free by Jesus.

He said, I do not know if he's a sinner, but I know one thing.

I was blind, but now I see.

And then they said to him, well, what did he do to you?

How did he open your eyes?

You know, they want to analyze that religious spirit wants to analyze everything.

We call it analysis paralysis.

But how does it work?

But how?

We want to logic it out.

We want to figure everything else out.

You know, if we have to figure everything out, you got to understand that to receive from the Lord is going to take faith.

And that's not something that you can figure out.

That's the trust and confidence that is based upon the word of God and the word of God alone.

It's not based on something that you can do that you can logic that you can figure it out.

It's based upon you believing a promise of God that is supernaturally.

That's it.

It's not Going to make sense to your natural brain, right?

They couldn't figure it out.

How did he open your eyes?

He answered them and said, I told you already.

Why did you not listen?

Okay, now here is another thing about this religious spirit.

Doesn't want to listen.

It wants to talk.

Really.

That religious spirit likes to talk like, a lot.

It wants.

It loves the sound of its own voice.

It has to be right.

It has to be heard.

It has to be loud, has to be obnoxious, right?

Has to be critical.

Has to.

It has to be.

Has to be spoken all the time.

But it doesn't want to listen.

There is no humility in that religious spirit.

Spirit, no humility.

It's full of pride.

So he says, you don't listen even when something is in front of you.

You don't want to listen, man.

I think we can all find ourselves in this position sometimes.

We're listening.

We might hear people, but we're not really listening.

You know, God is always speaking to you.

He's always speaking to me, telling me things.

I'm not always in a position to listen.

And that listening needs to be intentional, content, intentionally positioning ourselves to really hear him.

Says, why do you want to hear it again?

Do you also want to become disciples?

I kind of think this is funny.

He's getting a little bit cute here.

Why do you want to.

Now he knows they don't want to be disciples, but he's just messing with them.

So why do you want to hear it again?

Do you also want to become his disciples?

Then they insulted him, says, well, you are his disciples, but we are Moses's disciples.

The man answered him anyway.

Well, here is the amazing thing.

This man's getting.

Getting pretty chatty now.

Well, here's the.

He's an amazing thing.

You do not know where he's from yet.

He opened my eyes.

We do know that God doesn't listen to sinners.

But if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he hears him.

And since the world began, it's never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of the.

Opened the eyes of someone born blind.

If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.

You know, this is.

This is.

They weren't very happy with that.

Says, you were completely born in sin.

Are you teaching us?

And they threw him out.

This says so many, so much things here.

Okay?

But this man, he knew that it was Jesus.

He knew he had a real encounter with the living God.

He was not going to be stolen from.

He was not going to have that snatched away from him.

And he wasn't going to let things that he didn't know stop him from receiving things that he did know.

Man, this.

This is pretty.

This is pretty huge actually, because, you know, we see somebody that's received physical sight here and when he's come from a very religious background.

So this should give us a lot of hope.

Maybe, maybe like me, you, we were born again and you grew up surrounded by these religious spirits, these indoctrination.

And you're thinking, man, this.

She sounds like she's describing me to a T. How can I possibly receive from God?

Well, this man did.

Right in the middle of this most religious environment, he received his miracle.

And what happened was all he did simply, he didn't even approach Jesus, but Jesus approached him.

And when he heard the words of Jesus, he decided to listen to those words and to follow them.

That's all he did.

He look at his simple action.

He just listened to the words of Jesus and did what he told him to do.

That was it.

Even though he didn't have the, you know, the, the faith background, even though he wasn't raised by, you know, a family that taught him the word of God, that taught him in the ways of the Lord, even though he wasn't raised in the perfect.

He wasn't in the perfect environment where everyone was full of faith and there wasn't any unbelief.

No, he was right there in the middle of this religious begging and he's blind, right?

And yet right there, he had an encounter with God and all he had to do was listen and follow.

You see?

Let me encourage you here because I think there are many people that are listening, that look around their circumstances.

Think, my man, they don't even believe for healing in my church, my family don't believe that.

I'm not surrounded by anyone that can stand with me and stand in agreement.

Well, you're here, you're online with.

These are believers that are believing with you.

We're standing in faith with you.

You might not be in the most perfect condition.

You might not be, you know, in the middle of a worship service where the fog machines just right and the lights are just great and you know, the right, the right songs are playing.

You might not be in the most loving environment.

You might be in a place where you are surrounded by, by heathens, by, by darkness.

Don't let your circumstances stop you from, from receiving from God today.

Because Jesus went into the darkest environments and he found people that were willing to listen.

And when he found somebody that was willing to listen and would hear his words above the noise around him and follow him and him only every time those people received.

You know, even if you are surrounded by unbelief, one word of faith is far stronger than a thousand words of unbelief that might surround you.

You just determine which ones you allow in your heart today.

Don't let that religious spirit speak to you anymore.

Don't let that unbelief speak to you anymore.

Don't let those symptoms speak to you anymore.

You know what I do when I have symptoms come in my body?

I say, I doubt you.

I doubt you.

Doubts.

I don't believe you, body.

I don't believe you.

I say this in my body quite a lot actually.

Anytime there's an ache or a pain.

I don't believe you.

I'm not listening to you.

I don't believe your report.

I have the report of the low discipline greater to me, more important to me than anything you have to say to me.

And I'm going to put my trust in that word.

You know, this man isn't blind anymore simply because he listened and he obeyed.

He followed the instructions.

You know, Jesus says that believers lay hands on the sick and they recover.

That is what we're going to do now because God gets the glory not in us, but being.

Not in us being sick, but in us believing his Word and following through with it, believing His Word and receiving his power in our body.

Amen.

So let's, let's pray right now.

For your prayer request, let it be unto you according to his word.

He sent His Word and healed you.

So Father God, I just thank you for my brothers and sisters on here.

Lord, I thank you that your power is flowing through them from the top of their head to the very soles of their feet.

And I thank you Lord, that it's greater than the circumstances, it's greater than the symptoms.

I thank you Lord.

I thank you Lord, that every lying symptom has to leave.

It has to leave right now.

I take authority over the symptoms that are speaking even right now in the middle of somebody's body.

They're speaking right now really loud on the inside of somebody.

And I thank you Lord that your voice is louder.

We command those symptoms to leave, that pain to disappear.

We command those, those joints to move, those eyes to see, those ears to hear and those all goodness to function.

You know, I prayed for two children in.

One was in England, one was in Uganda and both of them were severely autistic and nonverbal.

And both of those children in the morning when they woke up, they had new words.

The little girl, right in Uganda, she was eight years old, she ran into her mum in the morning and she said, mummy, what can we have for breakfast?

What's for breakfast?

She'd never spoken a word in her life.

It was amazing.

Phenomenal.

New words every day.

Our children are waking up different.

Our children are waking up wells.

Even as they sleep tonight, they're waking up different.

You know, When Hannah was 8 or 9 years old, she had alopecia.

Lots of her whole chunks of her hair fell out.

She had a huge bald patch in the back of her head.

But we spoke the word over her, we spoke scriptures over her, we put her name in those scriptures and we said, hannah, when you wake up in the morning, you're going to have baby hairs that are going to be growing.

We set an expectation for her.

You can set an expectation for your kids right when you wake up in the morning.

Their hearts can connect with that.

They can understand that right now, you know.

In Jesus name, I command that hernia to be sucked back in.

Thank you, Lord.

Anyway, she woke up in the morning, she went, Sheila checked herself and hedgehog hair had grown out of her head.

That alopecia had gone and her hair came back and now she's got such thick hair.

You'd never know it happened to her.

She's totally healed.

It's amazing what the Lord can do in an instant, what he can do overnight.

Don't Buy the lie though, that you have to live with this forever or it has to take a long time.

No, it doesn't.

Sometimes we just need to sleep on it.

I'm telling you, there's powering that too.

We received his healing word into our body, but now we got to hold on to it, got to walk in it, we got to go in that direction, we got to act in it.

Sometimes that means doing something we couldn't do before, moving in a way we couldn't move before, you know, moving in the direction of faith sometimes because the, the, the problem is on the inside where we can't see.

It's taking it by faith.

It's changing our words.

Lord, I believe.

I did receive.

I did receive.

I thank you.

I'm the healed of the Lord.

And anytime those symptoms come back, no, I'm the healed of the Lord.

You know, that man, he came back, you know, three quarters of a mile later he was healed.

He came back and told people, I thank you, Lord.

You know, I watched a live stream today.

I was healed.

I received.

That was my moment.

I sent my faith.

That was my moment.

I received it into my body.

Whether I saw it or not.

I received it into my body.

It's mine.

And no one can take it from me.
