Today, I want to shine a light on a common trap many of us fall into—the proverbial waiting room of success. It's that place where our dreams and aspirations are put on hold, often indefinitely.
But not today.
Today, I’m inviting you to learn how to leave that waiting room behind for good.
Transforming "I wish" moments into "I will" actions starts with a shift in mindset—from passive to active, from dreamer to doer. It’s about replacing "I can’t" with "How can I.”
Where could you be if you actually took action today?
Do you want to still be sitting in the waiting room of success this time next year? Or do you want to be out there living your dreams, celebrating your successes, and building your life and business by design?
In this episode I break down three actional steps you can make today, to move you towards that success that you’re chasing.
Let me remind you, it might feel safe to wait around, but it won’t bring you closer to your goals. No one is coming to rescue you. Achieving your dreams is about being brave, committing to action, moving beyond your comfort zone, and really making those dreams a reality.

Speaker:the stars, wishing on each and every
Speaker:single one of them, yet feeling like
Speaker:they're just too far out of reach?
Speaker:What if I told you that those
Speaker:stars are closer than you think?
Speaker:That's right, today we're not just
Speaker:going to stargaze, we're actually
Speaker:plotting a course straight to them.
Speaker:So are you comfortable?
Speaker:Good, because I'm about to
Speaker:make you a little less so.
Speaker:Comfort is lovely, don't get me
Speaker:wrong, I love to snuggle up on the
Speaker:sofa on a Friday night with a pizza
Speaker:and a great movie, but let's face
Speaker:it, it's also where dreams go to nap.
Speaker:We've got to wake them up.
Speaker:Every single day.
Speaker:I once had the pleasure of working
Speaker:with a senior executive in property.
Speaker:She was a woman, a 20 odd mid
Speaker:20 woman with dreams as vast
Speaker:as the Australian Outback.
Speaker:Her dream was to make a life
Speaker:and career move from Australia.
Speaker:Over to London, but she packed
Speaker:a heavy suitcase full of excuses
Speaker:alongside her dreams, too many
Speaker:obligations and unsupportive staff.
Speaker:that old chestnut, it's
Speaker:just not the right time.
Speaker:And boss is telling her, Nope,
Speaker:you've got to put in a hard yards.
Speaker:You've got to do these jobs before
Speaker:you can possibly do that role.
Speaker:Together, we started dismantling
Speaker:those excuses one by one.
Speaker:We didn't just dream about
Speaker:life, or her life in London.
Speaker:We planned it out meticulously.
Speaker:We created actionable steps
Speaker:and embraced a mindset of
Speaker:possibility rather than limitation.
Speaker:We even reached out to an
Speaker:incredible woman in the U.
Speaker:S.
Speaker:That inspired her and asked that lady
Speaker:to give her some life tips, some career
Speaker:tips to help her fast track her dreams.
Speaker:All it took was believing, putting
Speaker:it down on paper and taking action.
Speaker:And lo and behold, within a year, she was
Speaker:making the new home of UK and sipping tea
Speaker:alongside, or PIMS alongside the Thames.
Speaker:All it took was transforming those
Speaker:I wish moments into I will actions.
Speaker:This transformation all starts with
Speaker:a shift in mindset from passive
Speaker:to active, from dreamer to doer.
Speaker:It's about replacing I
Speaker:can't with how can I.
Speaker:So what mental barriers are
Speaker:you ready to break down today?
Speaker:Are you waiting for the stars to align?
Speaker:For an invitation?
Speaker:Well, consider this your
Speaker:personal invitation, your
Speaker:permission to chase your dreams.
Speaker:You don't need to wait for a sign.
Speaker:This conversation is the sign.

Speaker:actually took action today?
Speaker:Think about where it is
Speaker:that you want to end up.
Speaker:Do you want to still be sitting in

Speaker:even setting up a meeting, but write
Speaker:down that one small achievable step
Speaker:and action that you can take today.
Speaker:The second thing I want
Speaker:you to do is schedule it.
Speaker:Whatever that step is, put it
Speaker:in your calendar right now.
Speaker:Give it a time, give it a date, make
Speaker:it as real and urgent as a meeting
Speaker:with a boss, with somebody, with a
Speaker:client, uh, with a family member,
Speaker:because you are the boss of you.
Speaker:You are the CEO of your business.
Speaker:So go ahead and schedule it.
Speaker:I was working with a client only this
Speaker:week on this thing, but she has built
Speaker:a phenomenal six figure business.
Speaker:She started out when I first started
Speaker:working with her, she literally
Speaker:was making 10 to 15 K a month.
Speaker:She's now built a six figure, high
Speaker:six figure business, work, numbers,
Speaker:commercials on fire, brilliant.
Speaker:But she's always in her business.
Speaker:She'd lost the joy in her life.
Speaker:And so we identified the first step.
Speaker:And the first step.
Speaker:For her, it was, I just
Speaker:want to read Janine.
Speaker:I just want to read some books.
Speaker:Think about when we're going to do it.
Speaker:The first step was identifying
Speaker:a daily activity around reading.
Speaker:The second step was to schedule it.
Speaker:She's now doing this eight to
Speaker:eight 30, every single morning.
Speaker:The third step that I want to share
Speaker:with you is seeking inspiration.
Speaker:Find a podcast, a book, or a
Speaker:community that aligns with your goals.
Speaker:Let the successes of others fuel your
Speaker:journey and remind you that What might
Speaker:seem impossible is often very achievable.
Speaker:Let them fuel your journey.
Speaker:Don't go into comparisonitis or
Speaker:I'm not good enough, but step in as
Speaker:your full self and get fueled from
Speaker:the positivity, the possibility
Speaker:and the opportunities for others.
Speaker:Take that energy and move forward.
Speaker:So those are your three steps.
Speaker:I want you to identify one small
Speaker:actionable step that you can take
Speaker:today towards your goal to schedule
Speaker:it much like my client with her, I
Speaker:want to read Janine and scheduling
Speaker:eight to eight 30 every morning.
Speaker:And the third thing is find
Speaker:inspiration, whether it be a podcast,
Speaker:a book, or a community that will
Speaker:fuel your fire to achieve more.
