Shownotes

Based on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ‘Hope in the Darkness of Loss’ is a reflection on remembering our lost loved ones. Some people may still wonder and ask, why should we remember those who have passed? It is important to remember and honour the memories of our loved ones who have gone home. This is because death and dying no matter how we want to avoid the subject is one of the mysteries of this life that every mortal must submit to at some point so long as we are still on this side of eternity. In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Paul was eager to demonstrate to the Thessalonian Church what the premises of the we have in Jesus Christ should be, so that if we have this hope it would make a whole lot of difference in how we feel about those who have gone before us. It is my desire that this podcast blesses someone today. Shalom!
