Summary

In this heartfelt episode, the Live Behind the Veil family explores how repentance within the Body of Christ becomes a living expression of oneness. Through open sharing, Ken, Ron, Lois, Monnie, Trisha, and Debbie reveal that repentance is not condemnation—it’s the doorway to unity, healing, and spiritual transformation. True repentance is simply turning to the Lord and allowing Him to do the work in us and through our relationships. Together, the family shows how standing in the gap for one another releases the flow of God’s love and power in this new day of His appearing.

Takeaway

Repentance is not about guilt—it’s about turning our hearts toward the Lord and each other. In this oneness, we find healing, clarity, and the release of God’s love. When we carry one another in repentance, the Body of Christ grows stronger, and the Lord’s presence becomes more real among us.

Transcripts

Ken: I know that we’ve entered a new era, a new day. Outpourings of the Spirit are happening, and a lot of things are going on. But never forget that the enemy would like to do a lot to stop the progress of what God’s doing. One of the things he does is try to cause division or tries to cause issues—anything he can to come in and pollute the Body, to take us off track.

There’s something about repentance—if we hold that in our hearts for each other because we’re a family and we’re one—anything that tries to come in, we can take care of it just by repentance for each other, and blocking the things the enemy would like to do.

Lois: As we read the Book of Job, we find him making sacrifices and repenting on behalf of his children, who perhaps had cursed God in their hearts. He was entering in vicariously to believe for the Lord to forgive because he was one with them. Vicariously he took their place.

Do you sometimes think that those who are close to you are wicked in their hearts? Do you wonder what to do about it? Just be one with them and go before the Lord and repent.

Ken: We do hold repentance in our hearts for one another, lest by any chance someone has sinned or fallen short. And it’s not a matter of judging—it’s a matter of repenting and believing for each other.

I think we’re in a new day in the Kingdom when things are going to happen rapidly. It may not be what you expect. We’ve come to a day and time as a family where we’re doing this together now. There was a time we did all of this individually, but now we’re doing it together. Prepare your hearts for more. Be ready.

In fact, I think there’s a place in the Word that says something about the appearings of the Lord. What does that mean? I feel we’re in the appearings of the Lord with each other. We see the Lord moving. We see Him speaking.

Ron: I think we need to be in a place of repentance, because a lot of the things you’re talking about—we don’t enter into them without repentance. They don’t just happen. They’re not natural. And so we don’t even know how to relate to them on a human level. We don’t have the drive, expectancy, or hunger that God requires to enter into the new day. To me, repentance is basically just turning to the Lord.

When I find myself questioning, or going “I’m not experiencing this or I not experiencing that,” then I can dwell on those thoughts—or I can just turn to the Lord. When I feel caught up short by what’s coming in the flow of the Word, I can either struggle with it, which doesn’t get you anywhere, or I can just turn to the Lord:

“Lord, I humble my heart and I turn to You right now. You're saying that this is what’s happening. You’re meeting us. You’re changing us. New things are on the horizon. Get ready. Have an expectancy.”

I can’t drum any of that up, so I just turn to You, Lord. I open my heart and my spirit to You and believe for the impartation and enabling to be able to walk in Your Word today.

Monnie: It’s the family relationship. We are helpers of one another’s faith. I’m not able to do for myself—it’s interdependence, where we need each other.

Ken: We are called to bear one another’s burdens. The Word says that if one is sick, we all feel the evidence of that sickness. We bear one another’s burdens when we present something, and the family rallies. It’s like coming to a point where we’re all contending for the same thing in that one person.

As a family, always seek to find answers for your brother, to heal your brother, and to believe for your brother—because he’s believing that for you. We are releasing each other into the next things God is doing right now.

I love what Ron said about repentance, and I agree with him. There’s nothing on a human level or even in our thinking—“How can I do this?” The truth is, you can’t. It’s the Lord’s business. He’s brought us to this point. This is where that resting in the Lord comes in—trusting that He’s working out the details. You understand what He wants to bring you into – to a point

He’s the one doing the work and bringing you into that thing. Repentance, just like Ron said, is simply turning to the Lord.

Every time I’ve tried to correct myself, you know what I find out? I find out I can’t do a very good job of it. But when I submit myself to the family and open my heart, all of a sudden things are clear and you can see again. You can be living in a dark spot, and all of a sudden clarity—and you go, “Wow, where did that come from?” It came from my brother; they were praying for me and releasing me.

If you think you know everything there is to know, you don’t know anything as you should. There are mysteries and things ahead of us. Remember what Christ said before He left – He said: “I have many more things to tell you, but you can’t receive them now.” But they will be revealed to you by the Spirit, the Spirit will lead you into all truth. That’s what He’s does. We’re in this together—we’re not being separated by anything.

Trisha: We’re willing to admit all kinds of stuff to God and be happy about it! “I don’t know anything, Lord—and I’m happy to say it!”

It’s a joy. We haven’t seen nothing yet, and I’m happy to say that things haven’t worked out, but You have great adventures ahead. I'm happy to say it. And I I love what you said, Ron, because I’m constantly – you know how the mind is the enemy of God.

But I can do what you said—I can stop and say, “Okay, I’m thinking like this. You know how I’m thinking.” But instead, I can just lower my heart and say, “I don’t know, Lord. Teach me. I turn to You and create me.” That’s a lot more creative than the quagmire.

Ken: We’re all sinners saved by grace, aren’t we? And I think we still make mistakes that the Lord reveals to us—and we repent. That’s what repentance is all about: completely turning back to the Lord and allowing Him to do the healing.

I think there’s no greater joy in my heart than when I see someone repent and turn back to the Lord. There’s something in me that leaps for joy—or when I see a person find the Lord, it’s the same thing. That’s the heart God gave us: to love one another out of His love, to love them back into a place in the family where they function as they should—always caring about the Body of Christ in our hearts.

Debbie: It’s the thing the Lord is doing in us and through us. It’s not us. We’re just being the channels—submitting to the Lord, resting in Him, and letting Him use us to minister to others.
