If you've got a candidate for the job in front of you that you like, you're reasonably certain they can do the job, and you know they want the job, make the offer.
Speaker:
You're never gonna be a hundred percent certain.
Speaker:
Every hiring choice is a risk.
Speaker:
But what I wanna tell you is that in this talent market, if I'm representing a candidate, I know that they are generally interviewing with two or three different organizations.
Speaker:
And if a recruiter tells you that we are in danger of losing a candidate because they're in final stages with another organization, move quickly because a bird in the hand for a candidate is better than two in the bush, meaning a job offer in front of me is better than two potential other job offers a week later.
Speaker:
So if you've got somebody, they can do the job, make the offer.
